Re: Feeling discouraged but not quitting

I always notice that I can really tell my true weight loss the 2 weeks after my cycle. I would definitely refrain from weighing yourself the week before and the week of. It's not fair to do that to yourself. It is frustrating and may convince you to quit - and if you are anything like me, I get VERY easily frustated those 2 weeks anyways! Hang in there and just keep up the good work. I mean, how can you totally change the way you eat and live and stay the same weight?!? It'll happen!

When I was jogging a few months ago I wasn't losing but one or two pounds but my inches were decreasing. I was building muscle.

I lost a few pounds since my last post and I look forward to getting remeasured on the 17th. My clothes are already feeling different and I have a pair of pants that I had to unsnap to get off, now I can just take them down without unsnapping. Yeh!!! I am so excited. I look forward to growing new and solid muscles instead of jiggly fat. The hardest thing for me has been to refrain from weighing myself but I am getting better. Thanks everyone for the support.
        I'm working on it.
