Hi, my name is Janet and i'm on my 3rd day of Induction. This is my first time ever in doing the Atkins diet. I have never been on a specific diet before but when i wanted to loose some weight i ate lots of veg and fruit and stayed away from bread. Growing up i was always a chubby child but when i got to my teens my weight yoyoed from 65 to 75 kilos (143 to 165 lbs) and i was quite pleased with that.2 years ago i had my first child it was quite a though labour and ended up having a C section......since the birth till this present day my weight gradully went up to 90 kilos (198.4 lbs).......I have never been this heavy soooooo its about time i did something about it. I have read the good things about atkins and the bad and even though i may still feel a little sceptic about it, reading through this forum and seeing your pics gave me a huge motivation.
I am looking forward to share my experience and hopefully lots of weight loss, i will keep you updated on my progress, my ups and downs, my highs and low's......this Janet and here she goes
Started Atkins diet:
01/04/2007 - 90 kilos (198.4 lbs)
04/04/2007 - 87 kilos (191.8 lbs)
Ok so I plan to weigh my self once a week but i feel lighter so i could not help but weigh my self this morning and the scales are saying 191.8lbs......wow i seem to have lost 6lbs

, but its also difficult seeing my self in a pic or in the mirror so i have a choice and right now i'm sticking to it.
