    I am 145 today!!!!!!!!!! One down. I am sooo happy. Within 7 days I am down by 5.
    I have another 9 to go. This is really good.

      Have you thought about starting a Journal Chat or taking advantage of the blog feature available to you? Either one of those would be perfect for tracking your journey.

      Here are some links to help you navigate the board. The last link is to a website you may already know about... a lot us here use it. And you can click on User CP on the blue bar at the top, all the way to the left. There are some very cool features we can use here, including a blog. And Journal Chats is a VERY happening place!

            Nick, I didn't loose anything today, Instead I gained. I went to 146lb. I think I didn't eat enough calories for two days and my body went to a starvation mode. I do find food is boring now and do not feel like eating.

              How about moving onto OWL then? It's about time, isn't it? You'll get more variety there and some people claim that they actually lose faster in OWL than they do in the second week of induction. Plus, it's healthy. We don't want to get burned out and fall off! Even if it is a tad slower, it's better in the long run.

                I really don't know. I still feel I should do full introduction. Once I thought I will do the extended introduction too (to loose fast). I know what you mean. But I am scared to skip. I will wait one or two days and start the OWL. Maybe my body got used to the introduction phase. This happens everytime when I start to diet. First week I loose fast but it will slow down and comes to an end. That is why I am doing combination of exercises.

                  I just finished reading some important section of the book. It says you can move to OWL if u have less than 10lb to loose. I can understand why u asked me to go to the OWL. So I am happy to go there.
                  Again during my introduction you saw I was not 100% perfect. Does that matter? I have been drinking coffee and Milk all this time. I couldn't give up them at all. Only thing I could do is to reduce 4 coffee to 2.
                  Do u think I should do the introduction again properly before moving to OWL? Book says I need to do a full correct introduction before stepping forward. Bit confused.

                    The purpose of induction is to kick your body into ketosis. If you feel you're in ketosis, then you're okay to move on. If not, at least try 3-4 days of a completely clean induction before moving on. I would definitely suggest moving on, though, since you only have a few pounds to lose. It's important to go through all the phases because it teaches you how to eat for the rest of your life.

                      Thanks Nick, I am 145lb again. Bythe way congrats for the GW1. I noticed it today that u met on 17th. Way to go!!!.
                      Yes I think I shouldnt do extended thing. I made up my mind. Takes long time to make up mind LOL. I will move to the OWL day 28th. I will try my best to reduce my coffee to one.

                            I got to admit I got to sell my scale. I can't control my feelings to check my weight everyday. I have checked the scale afer 3rd day of moving to OWL. It stays the same. I am in rung1 and eating brocollli (yuck) spinach (double yuck) forcing myself to eat vegies.

                              LOL! I know what you mean about the broccoli. I love to steam the heads and melt cheese over them All scales lie when you are on Atkins...unless you have one of those nifty body-fat scales, which really aren't that accurate anyway. Just rely on your measurements!

                                Guess what!!!!!!!!!! I am 143!!!!!!!!!!! Yuppie. I went to MYERS and bought a skirt size 10!!. Fits me but bit tight. Have an invitation for a ball on next month.
