I heard from a friend who is on Atkins that she lost so much weight on this diet, and I am absolutely desperate to try and do something to lose the weight. The problem is I'm a little scared to try it. I am categorized as being "morbidly" obese with high BP and my family has a history of type II diabetes and I read that atkins can push forward the onset of diabetes. So I'm torn. Anyone have any advice?

I guarantee, if you start the programme (and follow it to the letter) not only will you not regret it, but your health will improve... and that includes blood sugar.
