    Welcome to it's great to have you here!!!

    Congratulations on starting this way of eating, before you know it you won't only be seeing the positive results that comes along with this way of eating but feeling them as well.

    Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
    Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
    1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
    2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
    3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
    4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
    5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
    Current weight – 168.0 lbs.
    Goal weight - 150 – 160

          Welcome aboard and good luck!!
          Started Atkins on December 8th, 2005

          Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

          Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
          Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

          so:
          Restart Progress:
          12/28/09 ~ 235.1
          01/04/10 ~ 229.0
          01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
          (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
          01/18/10 ~ 227.4
          01/5/10 ~ 226.8
          02/01/10 ~ 222.6

            Hi Emmy! I am new too. I am on day 2 of induction and liking it so far...We can do this together!! How much weight are you aiming to lose?

                    yes we can actually i need some motivation so a partener in this journey will be a blessing.....................i need to loose 20 kgs

                      Your "menu" can be anything from the Acceptable Foods for Induction list.

                      If you need ideas, you can look here:

                        thanx for ur help ............i have a problem i can't cook as it is time consuming and i have an important exam approaching me any idea about ready meals or stuff that need no time to be cooked ...

                          Pre-made ready meals won't really be Atkins friendly.

                          What you could do is to cook ahead ... and then freeze things.

                          Many things can be prepared in a short amount of time.

                          It doesn't take much to bake some chicken thighs, for example.

                          You can then make a salad from ready to eat ingredients ... microwave some vegetables ... dinner's ready.
