    What's that? Your arms are weak and lacking in definition? Well don't let another month go by without doing something about it!!!

    Welcome to the August Stability Ball Pushup Challenge!!!!

    Post your goal for the month, and then jump on that ball and get rolling! We will cheer each other on!!!

      Hi - OK, I'm new... Don't know really how all this works (especially these cool signatures everyone has... (the link under FAQ for that doesn't work anymore )) but I'm putting myself down for 300 for August.


      (I hope this means 10 a day!?! Not 300 a day!?!) I figure at 10 a day -

      I CAN DO IT!!!!

      Day 5 - and hanging in there.... All of you are SUCH an inspiration! WOW - isn't that cool to be an inspiration to someone. THAT is what I want to be!

            This sounds interesting. I'll try it, but may I begin this first challenge for me modestly with only five a day with a total of 155 total pushups? I'd rather see what I can do first before going for something unmanageable, especially since my husky jerked me into the front door, my middle finger jamming against the door jamb. Middle finger is incapacitated temporarily, but the doctor in the emergency room said to use it since it's not broken. In fact, he insisted.

            Anyway, will five a day be okay this first time?

              Five a day is just fine LS!! In fact I think your strategy is good, and of course you can always do more and blow your goal out of the water!!! Be sure to check in frequently to let us know how it's going.

                      Do we report daily?

                      I will this first day of the challenge in any case. I bought a ball--not sure whether it's actually a 'stability' ball since I unstably fell off it when I first tried to do a few push-ups. In any case, it's a ball I blew up last night with a foot pump, and that activity probably burned more calories than the entire group of push-ups I aspire to do during August.

                      Anyway, this morning I didn't fall off the ball and did 10 push-ups.

                      My husky aspires to attack the ball, so now I have an enormous silver ball perched on the sitting room table with husky under table casting lustful glances up toward ball.

                        You are off to a great start lady!!! Reporting everyday is a great idea! It gives us more of a chance to get each other motivated throughout the month. It's not necessary though if you are super busy!!

                          okay then, i did 20 today. wanted to start the month off right. that leaves me with 30 to go, right? ( ya can't blame me for trying!)
