and so... to prove that I'm not a bum and I can indeed set a good example, I am logging my 3.1 miles of running from lunch.

Re: KickAss TriAth Reporting and Tracking

It just shows what you can do when there's a target - my previous best on the elliptical was 12 minutes - today I did an hour. That's 1.56 miles down (is weird number as am working in kilometres). This is going to take some doing if I don't want to run out of time!

I know - but it shows how I need the idea of being a 'loser' as motivation. I need to rethink all my exercise, I've been taking it too lesuirely.

                  ROFL - no, I didn't include it... I'm updating.

Baarb - I don't think this will let you be a slacker. ie. It's good you're taking part. I usually push myself harder to do something when I know that others are doing it along with me, kinda like, they can do this so I can do this... you know? Or having a set goal that's like, when I reach this, I can stop...

Lyssie, put me down for 4 miles on the treadmill.

I did that *cool* .10 intervals thing you talked about, threw in some .15 intervals too. I walked at 4mph, ran at 6-7.5mph (I did sort of a pyramid type thing, faster speeds in the middle of the workout). I actually really liked it...I never cooled down enough to make it feel like I wasn't pushing myself. It was a sweaty workout! Heh, the guy NEXT to me was doing the same thing. It almost looked ridiculous because we'd start each interval at about the same time.

Jane - I'll give you this freebie... but you gotta do them in *order* and I'm totally hoping that you have AAA... and get warranties on your tires... I mean, I drive like a maniac, but even I've never done that...

Juli - It's fun, right?? It's a lot better than doing it with the clock... And the guy next to you was probably like, this girl's gonna kick my butt so I need to keep up with her...

I did another 1.1 miles... I was too lazy to finish the second one. :P

I think that your triathalon is a magnificent idea and it will do very well! You have my support, and I'll spread the word, and kick over as many people as I can find!

I, myself, have been on a cleaning jag all day...and if it didn't count as exercise, I don't know what does...My house is beautiful, even after honey came home and everything! LOL...
