    30 min strength: knee lifts with weighted curl presses, knee lifts with weighted flys and arm lifts, spider pushups, lunges/knee lift combo with tube arm pull downs, kettleball swings, bicycles, hip presses, leg lifted hip presses, squat thrusts

      That is inspiring. I am so working to change my routing just to get in the strength. I think I set too high standards for myself. I have to this, this and this or else it is not worth it. I just do not have time for all that. I have to be happy with less right now. At least I am gettin some done.

      HMM what is lunges/knee lift combo with tube arm pull downs. I am trying to imagine.

        Hey Liv! It's this torturous thing trainer mike came up with haha.. hard to describe.. we used the bench press machine with the bar all the way up and tied an exercise band around the bar. I took a few steps back so the band was tight and then did a lunge and immediately did a knee left with the leg that was back in the lunge while pulling down the band with my arms... did 15 reps on the same leg and then switched to the other... really felt the burn great core and total body.. hope this makes sense

          I'm adding 15 mins from the other morning and 30 from last night. I did 100 crunches and 60 wall pushups for the 15 mins, then 100 more crunches last night, 30 lower ab leg lift things (that KILLED me!) and 60 wall pushups. I'm starting to think my workout cardio on my elliptical is enough "squats" for me, because when it ups the resistance level, when I'm done, my legs and butt feel like they're burning!

                Tuesday, May 12: 15 minutes core
                Wednesday, May 13: 30 minutes upper body. I spent a couple hours breaking up red clay covered with crab grass and wire grass with a Garden Claw. I think I'll go die now. My arms, shoulders and back muscles will never be the same.

                  I was looking at that picture thinking "I hope that is a garden claw because if that is some kind of a new workout equipment I am not going back to the gym.

                  I did some strength today. Hurray - I am really trying to get used to getting in just a few minutes here and there. Mostly arms this morning. And I did yoga. Well she called it yoga. It was close to torture I thought. (But I LIKED it)

                      Our gym is horrible when it warms outside (tiny, tiny windows and sweat don't go well together... no air cond.), so I prefer to do yoga home. The only weights are have here are some bottles, cans, etc... which are quite light so I don't even bother. Am I good at finding excuses or what?

                          I think this will happen in my gym too. It snowed yesterday (crazy) so so far this has not been a problem. I have some weights at home. And there is always things like lunges and squats and push ups and other super hard things.

                          I did do some weights (yes) and yoga yesterday. I'll do some abs and arms today if I can find time.

                            Yesterday, I planted 24 big tomato plants and 26 pepper plants with a post hole digger. I dig a hole about a foot deep for the tomato plants. I almost couldn't walk when I got home. Today, I was back with the garden claw, but I am finished planting for a few days! Maybe I will have a chance to get in some real strength training. The good part is I have lost three pounds this week. I probably sweated it off.

                                Oh no really. That was unlucky. It should not be that cold in June. Cheese.

                                I have lived here (I am in Saskatchewan - so it is the prairie- very cold in winter, quite warm in summer) for about 19 years and this is the latest spring we have ever had.

                                Oh you posted another of those garden workout things I see. Looks seriously hard.
