        I just did 5 real push ups! I usually do them on my knees like the girl that I am but I just wanted to see if I could do a real full push up. When I first started I couldn't even push my self off the mat...today I did 5...YAY.

                dropping the push ups for now. Flare up of levator & scalene muscle soreness. Being very careful as I've made too much progress in my recovery from neck/shoulder injury! Maybe next month.

                  Wow, 5 "regular" pushups! Way to go ohbehave007! I am doing them on the stairs and have discovered that the rec room stairs are harder to do them on, than the main floor stairs, lol. The degree of slant is less. Also, I forgot to post yesterday, so I'll do that now.

                    Hi, all.

                    I have been out of touch for a while. I injured my shoulder in the gym two weeks ago, and I can barely move my left arm. No more pushups for me until I heal.

                                My usual 60 - I've improved over the 6 weeks of doing these to where I can now do the first 20 (standard hand width) non-stop, woohoo! The next 40 all come in blocks of 10 (narrow and wide hand width) with about a minute of rest in between...

                                I figure when I can do 20 non-stop on each variation I will increase the numbers again. But obviously it will be a while until I get to China's level of 500 a day or whatever it is she is currently doing, LOL!
