Welcome to another week of running goals and achievements!
Last week was TERRIFIC, as we had Sarah finishing her first 10k (WOOHOO!) and I did a 13.1 mile run yesterday without dying, so I know come January I *will* be ready for Disney!! YAY!!
Its great seeing so many new posters here on the cool running thread! You're all soooooooooooooooooo inspiring!! Keep up the great work this week! Let's see what we can really accomplish!!
As for me, today is a rest day ... but come tomorrow, I will be shooting for 8 miles with the running club from work. I can't believe it, but I am over 700 miles for the year and its only mid-July!! Who knows, maybe I'll have to adjust my goal to 1200-1300 miles for the year!! YEAH MAN!!
Have a great week of running everyone!!

I did 7.3 in 1hour 20min this morning. Which is amazing to me because that is how long it took me to do 6.3 last week! My body feels great, it is like it has finaly realized I am not going to quit so it might as well join in the fun!!

Must be the initiation process of an addicted runner!

I could only muster up 35 minutes on it, and the odd thing was that my heart rate got up high pretty quick and it usually takes a bit for it to get up into the 140s. Maybe that would explain why I was more tired? I don't know......
