    Thanks for the welcome Brook. I'm glad to have such a great reason to un-lurk.

    Barbde - I sure hope you're right - I'd love to make my husband eat his (low carb, of course) words!

    I'm having some trouble dealing with the HUNGER that accompanies this ramped up exercise. It seems like I want to eat all the time. (Not immediately after a workout, but a couple of hours later I'm ravenous). I'm having to stop myself from eating bad stuff, since I feel entitled because I'm working so hard.

              Shelly- I tried Slim and Limber and it was a nice gentle workout. Thanks for giving me an idea of what to expect.


              My flabs aka stomach is killing me. My hubby has been laughing at me all day because everything I do inflicts pain on my stomach whether it is climbing steps or laughing. He is finding so much humor in my pain I challenged him to the Slim and Six Pack. We both failed miserably but he was the bigger whiner and he is physically fit. These work outs don't look like they would pack much punch but they are brutal after a day or two.

              We must be a loony crew to get so much satisfaction from our physical pain. I never would've thought I would enjoy exercising and now I am constantly planning my next workout. This is crazy!

                Oh good. I am glad you hubby found humor in your pain because I thought mine was the only one! At least yours woudl do a workout with you. My husband and 16yr old son both think I am hysterical in my pain, but wont' give it a try. And they keep telling me how buff they are!! Wimps!

                  Hello everyone~

                  Day 2 completed. Tonight I did SIU, it went well except I couldnt go down in the squats as far as before, but hopefully as I get stronger this will get better?

                      Day one of RIU is done! I got up at 6 and just did it so I can enjoy the rest of the day. I never thought I'd be so happy to hear someone say "let's move on to resistance bands." It was like, oh thank god, if we do this anymore, my legs are gonna fall off!

                      My favorite moment - Debbie says "remember, if it burns, it's working!" My 5 year old daughter turns to me and says, "Mom, is it burning?" Gasping for breath, I respond, "yes, it's burning!" She smiles and says happily, "then it's working!!"

                        Good Morning.

                        Another day, another work out with Debbie. I did SIU and Slim and Limber early this morning and now I have the whole day to take it easy. Exercising is becoming an addiction so I will probably walk a few miles and lift some weights before the day is over.

                        I need to start RIU this week. If I try to do it first thing in the morning will I be able to go to work without wincing?

                          Wow! Your before picture doesn't even look like you. I've noticed that even losing just a few pounds takes years off of faces from the pictures that have been posted. Who needs Botox with results like this.

                            Do not use your day off to have extended Happy Hour. Have extended Happy Hour the day BEFORE your day off of SIS!
