    I didn't get a chance to fit in BiU in this morning, I am feeling so bad about it too! I need to come on here and say that it is ok to have a rest day. The body needs rest and I am choosing today for it. I am gonna enjoy the holiday and if I have any extra time later on tonite I'll fit it in, if not, it is ok. I don't need to beat myself up about it, I'll just do it tomorrow.

      Another day of RIU completed, and a rather easier one. Could it be that after 2 weeks I'm starting to get comfortable with the routine? Maybe I need a bit more of a challenge. hmmmm.... I'm awaiting my BIU program, hopefully should be here by next week, all depends on Canada Post, the true definition of SNAIL MAIL! Hope you're all having a great Thanksgiving!

        Back from the meal at Mama's house. That was an experience. What's Thanksgiving without a little family feud? I wasn't involved. It was Sis and her daughter. It actually worked in my favor -- I didn't get round two of my meal because I was too busy ignoring round 2 of the fight.

        Said no to homemade pecan pie. Do I hear cheering???

          Good morning, fellow Vidiots!

          Well, long story short.....I went to work last night and the sickies got me. I mean, they really got me. I spent the better part of this morning throwing up and wishing for death. I woke up about an hour ago and I've lost my voice. It's settling in my chest.

          I'm MAD. Seriously. I weighed in when I woke up (new weight reflected in siggy!!! - Yeah- I know it's gonna go up after today, but it's there NOW!) and then I REALLY wanted to BIU. I started breathing all deep to figure out if I'd die when I got winded only to have dh step up behind me and ask me what the hel| I was doing. LOL When I told him, he actually pulled my pony tail and asked me if I was stupid. ROFLMAO "NO working out today. You do NOT need to get more run down." Chiming in right behind him was Roo. I've been ganged up on and over-ruled.

          I'm going to rest as much as I can today - pump vits and minerals and Zicam and Mucinex- do next to nothing at work, and hopefully I'll be better tomorrow!

          Turner- Heh. Welcome to RIU! Just like Shelly said, it's more important to keep your form up than to match her rep for rep. I hate to throw a Sieber-ism at you, but "your strength and stamina will improve each time you do it!" LOL Please, don't throw things at me. heh heh

          Yoly- 6 inches?!! Woohooo!!! I just took mine and I'm down a total of 3.25" in the last 14 days. Not bad!!

          For those of us taking today off for whatever reason...NO GUILT ALLOWED! Enjoy the day with your family and if you get it in, cool, and if you don't.....there's always tomorrow to sweat!

            Taking a rest day today.

            Did a lot of work for Thanksgiving dinner and still have guests here. Just needed to stop by and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

            Did well with dinner. Stayed on plan. Turkey, broccoli, mashed cauliflower, and crustless pumpkin pie. Even though lots of other stuff was around.

              Brook-Hope you feel better soon.

              Turner-Family feuds are a requirement at our house on the holidays. We eliminate them by eating in a public place to keep everyone on their best behavior or else stay home by ourselves.

              SIU completed and Si6 pack completed for today. I need to save my rest days for a hectic day when there is no time for myself.

                I did well today, EXCEPT.... and this was a planned except, it was an experiment LOL.
                I made myself some stuffing with low carb bread. Everything else legal. Well, the bread is legal for me. I only partake very occasionally though, because that is a definite trigger food for me. But the other ingredients included Mushrooms, celery, onion, garlic. Well, taste was not bad. HOwever, the after effects were pretty awful. I won't do that again! Wasn't that good, and ohhh my stomach did not like me. Live and learn, I am a work in progress!!
                Other than that, life is good. We enjoyed the kids and the inlaws, and the kids friends.

                  Hello all, I had a great Thanksgiving, sounds like everyone else did to. I stayed legal turkey, broccoli, mashed cauliflower, and sugar free jellow with a few berries and heavy whipping cream, plus a small slice of my chocolate swirl low carb cheesecake. It was a ton of food, but definatly yummy! I didn't get a chance to fit in Si6 today but I will tomorrow. I am gonna get up and work out and then I'm hitting the shops. I think it's gonna be madness out there but Kohl's has 50% off on all of their toys and I want to get some christmas and birthday stuff for Abi. I also want to hit up Walmart and maybe Toys R' Us. We will see how it goes.

                    Hi all!

                    I had a great day...after the turkey was in the oven, I did Ramp It Up this a.m....it felt great...I love that ab workout!

                    I did really well with eating today! I made lc greenbean casserole, cranberries and mashed turnips...had a little turkey and with my lc goodies...a little gravy...it was great, I really enjoyed it and didn't feel like I was missing a thing.

                    I had a little handful of cashews and a few prawns for 'snack'! Lot's of visiting and laughing...it was a great day!

                    Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

                      6:30 AM gonng do RIU and then go to the gym. Tomorrow is my day off. I'm going shopping overnight with Mama, DD, and DS, so I won't be checking in until Saturday afternoon. I have already checked out the menus on line and have a game plan.

                        RIU completed this morning. I am crunched for time today and was going to do SIU until I got out my measuring tape. I am actually getting bigger. I was not expecting this. I feel leaner but the tape measure told me otherwise.

                          BoxerMom - I'm in the same boat - I feel more lean, especially in my quadraceps, but the tape measure and the scale are being mean, mean, mean! I'm just trusting that at the end of the 6 weeks, things will have evened out. I know I have to build a lot of muscle, which will add weight. My stomach muscles are destroyed from having twins, so I have to rebuild those from scratch.

                            Ramp it Up and Slim and Limber completed for today - feeling good.

                            I just have this to say, though - Anyone who doesn't have two 5 year olds tying them up with their resistance bands during the stretching routine doesn't know how easy they've got it!
