    hey gang
so how is the exercise going.
Hey MsNICKSMOM as the baby gets bigger your muscles will get more workout too for free don't you love it. Can just see you doing your upperbody workout when he is in grade school.

My knees will not do lunges either but they love fast treadmill walking and weight lifting.

I did my workouts but drasgged so the doc better say its the thyroid.

LOL at the arm work out with the 5 year old. Even my 3.5 year old, I can lift him...but he's too squirmy

Yesterday held Benji in the front carrier walking and standing (watching a parade and walking back to the car) for 1.5 hours. lunge/squat/pops at work. 1 set of arm work, but couldn't finish, just beat. Humidity here is TERRIBLE, and I'm feeling very drained.

2big, looking forward to hearing about your appt.

Have a great weekend all, and don't disappear, I count on you guys!!!

Hi everyone! Just a quickie to say I'm still on track (my routine hardly ever changes...soooo boring for y'all to read!!).
Enjoy all your posts. You all sound so nice and peppy! It's so cool to have Atkins friends! Not sure how I'd have done without you lot, all on my lonesome (almost) here in Italy. No one's ever heard of Atkins here. They never did a translation of the book, I don't think. Thanks pals... you keep me focused for real!

hey denise! groceries got me today. it was 90 degress here. jack says "it ain't so bad". obviously he is NOT a menapausal woman without AC.

jack brought some bushes and flowers home from work today so we planted those and i worked some more on the sidewalk. the grass has overgrown the walk badly and i am sure that the last renters never cleaned anything off. shoot, that job probably hasn't been done in years and years!

Well, J48 you did more than I did today. I tossed Benji around a bit, thought he was getting scared when I'd get him to high? Turns out if I start him LOW, not chest level, but squat w/him and get him all the way up above my head, he loves it. Course I could only do that 3 sets of 3 all day LOL. THat's a dang long way!!! And then he was cackling so his brother wanted the same thing...uh, no. But a fair replica. THought about doing my leg rountine...yawned. THought about working my arms...made a rum and diet instead. But, it's my first day totally off in a LONG time, and at least it was an active weekend.

Hugs to you all and hope everyone had a good weekend.

our heat index is over 100 so I stayed in and played on my machines while Mother watched. took her to the outdoor pool this morning and she didn't like all the little kids splashing so we will be doing the afternoon swimming till her gym opens. Did my HIIT too.

See your weights are getting heavier so you can get a good workout as your muscles grow. I think flying little boys would be just the leg work and bonding time you need. Just think they will be having fond memories of "playing airplane with Mommy and you will be gewtting free exercise. what more could a busy mommy ask for?

I'm still tired but plan to hit the gym tomorrow after checking the blood work results.

Ugh, 2big, where are you again? Our HI was over 100 this weekend too, not too bad today though.

Lunge/squat/pop at work routine today, REALLY going to WATP again tonight. I am feeling VERY tense lately and I think the lack of cardio plays a part.

                      TT you all later.

does sweating count as exercise? is that on the presidential site?

                        SWEATING
                        8 HOURS
                        1,032 POINTS

at least there is a breeze blowing but it's too hot to do anything aerobic in this house. i'll jump on the bike and do 15 minutes or so and throw in a few flights but that's it.

Yeah, I wonder what we're sweating off too. And DH keeps saying it's too hot to eat, and I keep saying, What should I eat? I don't know if I'm actually burning more, but I ate a lot today.

BUT, I did the stupid WATP 3 mile, finished it too. I'm just so BORED by the end of it. The 2 mile is a much better fit for me, but it was getting too easy. I tried the running thing exactly once, I want to do more, but I don't know if it will work out with DH and my evening schedules. I hope to try for 20 min (starting the Cool Runnings program) tomorrow night. Unless I determine it's really not the best idea to do after dark, then it will be Thu.

                          Night all.

not quite as bad as yesterday but hot enough.

i did some yard work again today. jack keeps bringing me home flowers and bushes so i got the rest of those done up then proceeded to do some biking and some flights. i am falling behind just a little on my ball pushups. i am doing arm work, just not push ups. so the exercise is there, it just can't be counted.

sal, i see you are about half way to the top of the CN tower! i have 2, maybe 3 days left on scafel pike. i am dreading everest. it's gonna take eons to reach the top of that monster.

Hi Everyone, thought I should check in. Still climbing kilimanjaro though I didn't go to the gym this week, partly because of the heat, partly because i'm on vacatoin after tomorrow and my membership ran out last week (i buy it monthly) so i don't want to waste the money. i'll buy one for next week though. I have been running though (even in this heat), and keeping with my 30 mins. I think when the weather cools down a bit i'll up it to 40 mins. I'm trying to commit myself to running the Terry Fox 10k run in october so i'm working towards that.

sal, i see you are about half way to the top of the CN tower!
Early every summer they have an actual CN Tower stair climb here that benefits the World Wildlife Fund, I missed it this year, but next year if i'm still doing the stairmaster, I may just have to sign up!!!

o/t My dad was one of the Senior engineers in the building of the CN Tower My stepdaughter took this picture of it from the car last summer:

sorry, that's a bit off topic

Now i better go and update my flights for kilimanjaro!
