    well I know why they didn't come cause my icon wasn't clickable but Jimmie Jo fixed that so now ther are no excuses for our goalies not to come show the ADBB losing folk that goalies stay goalies cause they continue to work out and eat right.

    did my gym time this morning weight lifting and crunches and cardio

    As i got home I saw my neighbor out at 745 with his leaf blower and thought man if I was sleeping in on satureday I'd be so mad... then I realized since I started Atkins I don't sleep in on Saturdays any more. how bout y'all

      Saturday sleep ins?? Nahhhh... never really did that, but would have the occasional Sunday lie in... and, guess what? You're right... not any more, since Atkins!

        hey gang.

        it was a rest day for me. i had a fitful night. and went back to bed after getting jack off to the disaster training course. i had some good nights here and there but i wake up tired. yes, i have been taking my vitamins, 2big, that would be the first thing you ask me.

        i got my days in for the 6wec but just barely. i think i have one more week in that. not sure if i'll sign up for the next one.

        2big i was happy to fix it for you. i don't know why i didn't to start with. just forgot i guess.

        so tomorrow i guess i will bike during the race. did that last week and jimmie came in 2nd. maybe if i bike longer, he'll come in first!

          are you superstiious? I was telling ny nephew about that kind of stuff and explaining that nothing we could do would effect the out come of the game and just as he opened a new toy game to play with the other team scored so he put it way and got a different one. poor kid thought his game jinxed the team

            Hey all.

            2big, I would sleep "in" in a heart beat if I had the chance. Just making it til 7 would be such a gift. I swear that a large reason the weight came off so fast and easily (sorry) is that I NEVER SLEEP. These kids haven't let me sleep 3 hours straight...well, ever, and so I never achieve that deep rest. And of course the house and job don't let me go to bed early.

            Sorry for the whine. Feeling sorry for myself tonight becuase I'm getting SICK again, largely due to the lack of rest and I'm grumpy about it.

            Exercise was LOTS of walking and lugging kids and wrestling kids, 2x cardio (IN ONE WEEK...somebody write this down!), arm stuff and Benji stuff. He totally asks to exercise now...it may be the sweetest thing ever.

            He also climbs. Up everything. But can't get down. So if I lose, I can expect a blood curdling scream any second when he realizes he's stuck. It's been a very noisy weekend.

            Hugs to all, and go goalies!!! I was just thinking today that I couldn't be a STAC'er because that would mean I'd have left all this
            What is it, a RACE? It's coming off, right????

                    that is so sweet I hope you will be teaching all the moms who say i got a kid and can't exercise all the ones you have done with him.

                      that nearly blinded me, 2big!!!! lol

                      glad i was sitting down. i did go bike, pretty vigorously for 20 minutes so i got something in today. tomorrow i need to get some flights and weight work in. it's so cold to me. i think that is one reason i am not so much interested in this now. maybe i need to bring our oil heater upstairs while i work out. i don't know, i just haven't hit the right combination yet.

                      thanks for the shout! it was needed.

                        Denise... I so love to read about everything you do with Benji! Such fun to exercise that way... for both!

                        Jimmie.... I can ditto what 2big said, if you like (with a smile)!!

                        Shaved ten mins off the dog walk today 'cos I'm rushing, but tried to make up for it by 'dancing' my way through the early morning chores. Anyone seeing me 'hopping' while washing the dishes would have wondered about my sanity!!! Didn't drop any (dishes) though!

                          you are welocme.
                          yiou have 2 things going on you need to get used to northern weather and being on Atkins your body is more efficient at fuel burning then carb burning so less energy is lost as waste heat to the body. you can bundel up or be more active to generate more heat

                              I've been a slacker once again this week. THough i was in Buffalo on a shopping trip on the weekend and literally walked around the stores from morning till night. When i got home monday night my knee was acting up badly. I think I may need to see the dr. about it this time. It's especially bad if i kneel down..i can't seem to get back up again..it seems to give out on me.

                              So i've taken it easy on the running, and have just been walking the dog. I'm thinking if my knee keeps this up i may buy an exercise bike (used to have one and got rid of it..how foolish!). I figure that will be less impact on my need. I really hate not to do my cardio.

                              Now as for my pilates, weights and balance ball, I have no excuse LOL . I've just been brutally tired this week.

                                Sorry to hear your knee is playing up again Sadie. Don't overdo it, and yes... I'd see the doc if I were you. Not sure a bike is any good for misbehaving knees though... Why not concentrate on your pilates, weights and ball for now?
