    What?? I fixed that too

you just trying to up my post count now that the fastest fingers in ADBB history is posting again? or distract me form deciphering what your cryptic post means ?

i never thought i'd say this but i miss doing my flights. i won't go into details, not here, but i just have not been able to accomplish getting any flights in and i fear this will be another month of the same.

[QUOTE=2big4mysize]...Sallyseachange saw you on posting so Im guessing you are back from your trip or you won a hugh fortune to pay for that expensive internet connection you werre telling us about. how many toweres did you do while gone?[QUOTE]

Actually 2big, am still in the islands. My connect card gives me a certain number of hours (too few!!!) at a flat rate per month. I'm using them up far too quickly of course, and most of the time I spend waiting for pages to load or logging in again cos the connection falls. Frustrating! When the hours run out, the price gets totally prohibitive, so am rationing myself. Speed read everything and only take in about a quarter of what I read!
Back home maybe Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Glad to see everyone's still going strong.

Jimmie... sorry to hear things are not easy right now. Hope all gets sorted out soonest! Don't try to do too much; take a break now and again, so you can recharge and start up again with extra vigour!

Hey goalie friends Hope all is well. Sadie, did you get your knee figured out? And Sally, looks like you're still traveling, hope all is well.

Jimmie, thanks as always for your hard work...hope the "things" you are dealing with are resolved soon and life is how you like it

2big, good to see you my friend. Thanks for missing me. As I mentioned via pm, we are Jehovah's Witnesses so don't celebrate Halloween. So the candy wasn't an issue for me. Some other sirens called my name though, grandma's cooking could hardly have been worse for a carb counter. We made it through unscathed. I'm sure we were so active it worked off any possible damage. All time low of 131 today.

The farm was really a special trip for me and the boys. They got to see things and do some things from my childhood and that was cool. They got to see lots of family we only see once or twice a year, and even a cousin from FL we only see every other year or so. And Benji's at such a cute age, it was really cool that everybody got to see him, my Grandma especially. It was a 5+ hour drive each way, but that worked out ok too, they slept a good part of it. Benji hung out inthe backpack while we were outside walking around, so I got some GREAT exercise

As far as back to real life...keeping up the arm stuff while watching TV. Lunge/squat stuff at work. Kid exercises, though I've had to revise those slightly as Benji is longer than my arms now. IE when I lift him, his feet are still on my chest or too close to my face! And then there's the constant chasing and wrestling...

As I said, 131 today, so something's working I'm having fun reworking "comfort" foods as the weather gets colder. Squash is in season here a couple more weeks, that's been good. And hunting season out to bring some new protein too

          Hugs to all!

          Denise

thnks for the update Sally I wnet to the clinbing challenge to see how high you got

MSNICKSMON try lowering your holding on Benji to his waist and ask him to hold his arms out like an airplane and keep his legs still like the body of a plane and "fly" him. he is stong enough to hold hid body rigid while he flies and you can swooopp in back to your face for a kiss as a dive bomber. put a target on your forehead check or whereever you want him to aim ( don't use your lips as teeth are expensive if he gets to enthusiastic) Glad you had a great time at the fram with 4 generations of family.

went to the gym this morning and did my workout. Mother and her new care person were in the pool area for the whole time I hired her to sit up nights and redirect Mother back to bed and to then go to the gym and swim with her so I get some rest 3 nights a week and can use my respite care folk for other things.

2big...thanks for the tips. Benji isn't somprehensive enough to work with like that just yet. I did find a great way to keep his attention span longer though. We now do our exercises in front of the mirror. Boy, does he think that baby is funny. And he's facing out so I'm still holding him under the arms, but when he brings his legs up they don't kick ME It's working great for the arm/chest stuff. The leg stuff (which I guess is him on my legs, but I think it's the tummy muscles exercising) he's getting better at balancing so that's getting a bit longer too.

Beyond that I'm 10#ing it while watching TV, and I'm on my feet from 6 until 10 every night. I'm considering a job switch that would actually have me on my feet 40 hrs/week. And so far I've managed cardio 1x/week in October and once since Nov 1 And now it's getting too cold to be outside much, so I really need to work that back in.

                  Hope all are well.

                  Hugs

hey guys been hanging in there with the HIITing and the gym. got somebody to stay with Mother 3 nights a week so i can sleep and boy did I use it well Friday night! it this works out I may get somebody for every night. I do need a new rule though no microwave popcorn making without the fans on cause man did that wake me up wanting some in the morning.

LOL on Benji thinking that baby is funny. You could gets lots of cardio racing the cart at the store with your boys driving before you put any groceries in if your store has one of those car kiddy carts

Sorry Jimmie they raced right by you. you should have held out your arms and blocked the narrow trail up the mountain

I did run 3 days last week, but other than that was a total slug

today I'm going to do my pilates, And i'm going to start an at home program of weights and balance ball. Unfortunately until at least the end of the year I will be so busy in my job that the possibility of me getting to the gym is unlikely. But I do have 10lb free weights here, a ball, and a few dvd's so i have no excuse!

I saw a treadmill on sale this week 50% off, from 899 down to 449. I only wish i had the room for it ! We do live in a house but hte basement ceilings are too low.

Another slug week for me with running, had a nasty stressfull week at work, and well just a nasty stressful week for alot of reasons. It's too bad my running suffered because we had perfect mild running weather. I've barely left my house besides walking the dog 3/4 times a day.

On the bright side i'm going shopping in buffalo this weekend, I'm sure i'll do enough power laps around Target and walmart, plus carrying all my purchases to make up for it .
