3 miles in at 5.5mph on the treadmill, 10:55 or so minute per mile pace.
Heart rate average was down 6 beats for this run compared to the same run 2 weeks ago. Yeah!
6 miles in. Heart rate is way up. Can't shake this sinus infection. Probably hitting the doctor on Monday. On a good note though, weighed in at 196. Back in Onederland! Yeah!
Think I may finally be turning the corner on this cold. 3 miles in. Heart rate most of the way back to normal. Got all the runs in this week. This was a step back week, only 18 miles. Next week is back to 23 or 24 miles.
5 miles in today. Ran outside for the first time in a while. Pretty cold with a bit of a breeze. Supposed to be in the upper 40s next week. Can't wait.
Back on the treadmill today for 4 miles. A bit challenging as my brother-in-law showed up and talked to me the entire time. Never got winded and the heart rate didn't go way up. Finally gaining some fitness. Temps in the 40s this weekend. Looking forward to doing most runs outside.
3 miles in 31 minutes. This is my "pace" run for the week. Not fast yet, but much better than the 12-13 minute miles I was running a few weeks back. Would like to get to where anything 6 miles or less was sub 10 minute miles @low heart rate. That's the goal anyway.
8 miles outside. Temps in the 40s. Beautiful. 24 miles in for the week. Fastest run for the week averaged 10:20s. Slowest around 11:10s or so. Much easier running now that I'm running less than 13 minute miles. Probably going to increase the length of the long run the next couple of weeks to 10 then 12 miles in preparation for the Half marathon on April 1st.
5 miles outside. Picked up the pace and ran real hard in stretches. Sometimes I think the body gets used to doing the same pace over and over. Good thing to mix it up a little.
