13.1 miles in 2:20:58, 10:46 per mile. Nice, effortless run. Real flat course. Finished at about the pace I targeted. As I continue to drop the pounds, I'll keep trying to push the pace.
Overall, real happy with the first race of the year. Now, my focus shifts to a trail half marathon at the end of April. Lots and lots of hills are in my future. No hills to speak of close by to do any real hill training. I guess I'll have to work in a little bit of speed work (fartleks) to try to simulate the extra effort.
