    I will probably have to fight off my husband to be able to get out there. He will say it is too dangerous for a woman to run on the streets. Or, he will follow me in the car.[img]images/smilies/icon_lol.gif[/img]
    lol , that reminds me of that commercial when that guy follows his wife while she runs, he is playing the radio really loud, I think its blasting Spice Girls.

    I am dead tired today....I am just drained..Not much to report, Sunday I am going to weigh...so I hope everything goes ok.

      Not much going on here either, took a rest day. Will weigh in tomorrow and post my results for the week.

        Good morning everyone. weighed in this morning with some happy results - another 4 pounds gone - amazing! Next Saturday I hope to be in Onederland! After a slow start, this challenge has helped me move the pounds! I just may make my first goal of 190 by August 4th.

          Congrats to everyone this week whether the scale was friendly or not; we are still here and that is an achievement!

          Thanks everyone for your support while I had the flu. I gave myself two days to recover then just ignored feeling lousy and exercised anyway. It was weird realizing that I actually wanted to exercise and was mad that I couldn't!

          Anyways, I'm so thankful that despite the obstacles this week, a nice weight loss showed up on the scale; I am down to 240.75!!! I thought for sure I was going to stall this week, so I would have been happy with anything really. I am so close to saying goodbye to this decade!!

            You all are doing so well! I've been working hard at it and feel like I'm making progress but don't want to stop in the doc's office until next Friday for my official weigh-in. I seem to have more success if I step on the scale less frequently. Is this ok with the team????

              I was at 197 this morning, so I am down 3 pounds from last week. I guess that excercise is really paying off

                  That's so excellent on the loss way to go WOW. I did my 10 k and finishe well ahead of what I thought in 80 minutes I am soooo happy.

                    Lost 4 lbs. this week and 7.5 inches. Walking on treadmill each day; today 2 miles at 2.7 miles per hr. My incline is broken - it is stuck at 1.5 incline which is about nothing. Heart rate getting into 130's with this rate.

                      Way to go on the 4 Pounds that's totally awesome, and I'm sorry the incline is broke on the treadmill that really sucks mine has no incline so I'm SOL.

                      I'm actually up 9 pounds Pre TOM Yuck I hate this it really sucks I always gain so much before my TOM then lose it as it approches and lose more HMMM I'm sening a trend no wonder I am so tired carrying arouns an extra 9 pounds the last few day YUCKY.

                            Could you put the front legs up on bricks or would that be too much of an incline??? Either way, it's certainly doing the trick. 4 pounds is awesome!!

                              Okay, i didn't exercise yesterday (except the dog walk) and I need to get back in gear today!! I committ to doing 2.5 miles on the treadmill today. If i don't come back later and say i've done this, I give everyone permission to yell at me!!

                                I, gonnabthinin2006 swear to be faithful to the Atkins Way of Life in order to become healthier and look and feel better about myself. Whether facing fluctuations of the scale, fourth of july picnics, birthday parties, or mean jerks who want to tear us down..., I will not waver in my determination to the promise I have made to myself on this day! For I know that if I am true to the Atkins WOL, health and confidence will surely follow!

                                My goal is to weigh 225 by christmas (or the end of the year).

                                I know that when I achieve my goal, I will be proud a shoot for another one.

                                And I promise that when I am having trouble, I will come to my fellow teamsters to help! In addition, I will help my team out by also providing encouragement, wisdom, and understanding when they need it.
