    Wow looka t all of us go I know what you mena about scales I wish that my Step moms scale was mine cause it's like 5 pounds lighter I would have been 2 pounds away from Onederland.

    Just so you all know Yoly and I have started a little challenge between ourselves so we won't be weighing till the 6th of September Oh, it's gunna be hard but,. I know I can do it. I feel skinnier already with the no cream and everything what a great way to start the month. I'm gunna have a great weight loss month I know it with all the exercise and stuff I have been doing it'll be awesome I cna't wait.

    So today is my running day I am still stiff from Sunday but, with that I know I did somehting great so I feel good. I did some stretching yesterday following my 1/2 marathon training yesterday was a day off now for the rest of the week I have to go hard.

    My sis and I have decided to run the half together next year isn't that exciting I can't wait WOOHOOO. I am pumped now.

      I did 4.53 miles or running on the treadmill so all went well it too me 1 hour to do that then I walked the rest for a total of 5 miles today. Tomorrow is running day as well but I am going to run on incline for only 20 minutes to build up my hill climbing skills. LOL

        I'm doing pretty good on the excercise. I actually can't believe it, this week is going great so far. Did my WATP tape, 3 miles just now, and I have moved up to 2 pound weights.

        I just want to say how proud I am of all of you, and I must say myself. I was always a couch potato, didn't like being active, even as a child. Now look at me, walking 3 miles, for someone who used ot hate excercise it is an accomplishment. This brings me to say, if I can do it then anyone can do it. I am proud of all of you, going to curves, and walking on your treadmills, working weights, and running marathons. I never would have thought this was possible, and now look at us. Great job everybody.

          This week is going badly. I started a new full time job and already don't like it, and I come home and am exhausted. The only exercise I've done all week is walk my dog each day. The scale is starting to inch upwards I don't know what to do! (What I really want to do is quit, but it's only been 2 days and I would feel like a total loser!) Does anyone else here manage a full time job and still get in there exercise?

            I was wondering if I could join this challenge... I know I'm a few months late, but I figured it shouldn't really matter.


            I, Leah swear to be faithful to the Atkins Way of Life in order to become healthier and look and feel better about myself. Whether facing fluctuations of the scale, fourth of july picnics, birthday parties, or mean jerks who want to tear us down..., I will not waver in my determination to the promise I have made to myself on this day! For I know that if I am true to the Atkins WOL, health and confidence will surely follow!

            My goal is to reach a size 20 or 270 by christmas (or the end of the year).

            I know that when I achieve my goal, I will FEEL FANTASTIC, buy a new outfit, and get a pedicure.

            And I promise that when I am having trouble, I will come to my fellow teamsters to help! In addition, I will help my team out by also providing encouragement, wisdom, and understanding when they need it.

              Mary-chan, can you talk to person who hired you about what's bothering you? Maybe it's an adjustment period and will smooth out?

              I don't know anyone, working full-time or not, who can always get in the exercise without something else being relegated last. My days are jammed without a full time job. If I get the exercise in three days a week I consider myself lucky. I'm busy and moving the other days but no formal exercise gets done. Will my kids be scarred for life if I put exercise before them? No, but within six years they'll be gone to college. I'll have more than enough time to exercise then. So until then, I'll keep to the diet, do my best in the exercise department and not beat myself up over it. You've lost 30 pounds - a great accomplishment - and will keep it going. You can do it!

                I was hired through a temp agency and called then today and they were really nice, and said there have been other complaints about this one guy too, so I felt better hearing that. Well, I will just have to kick up my motivation and exercise after I get home! Off to the treadmill... in a few minutes lol. Hope everyone is doing well!!

                    OK, where is everyone? It's weigh in day is it not??? I wish I had good news but I don't have bad news either so I'm happy. I've recovered from visiting family and drinking margaritas - lost what I gained but no more than that. I survived a cookout this afternoon without blowing it and by next weekend I'll see the scale drop...........

                      I can't weigh in until the 6th, but I measured this morning and this past week I lost 6 inches.

                      Man, that excercise is really working

                          Well I'm right there with ya, yankee, we really are on the same weight wavelength lol! Since I only exercised twice this week, I was only around 230.5, which is down like 1.3 pounds. Not too bad, but last monday and tuesday I was around 229, so I actually feel like I gained weight!! And I know if I had kept up my exercise routine, that number would have stuck. *sigh*.

                          Don't underestimate the importance of EXERCISE!!!!!!! It really really makes the difference!

                              I have truly fallen off the regular exercise wagon. There's always something that's got to be done and taking an hour for exercise - and then the hour to shower, dress and dry my hair - just doesn't fit in the equation. I've tried to compensate by eating less. My untrustworthy home scale showed a three pound loss from yesterday to today. While I don't trust it, it gives me the lift I need to stay on track! I have such a long way to go but I really really really could not have made it this far without everyone's help here.

                                I think you're doing really great Yankee I know getting the exercise in is hard but, it's really essential to getting the weight off. COuld you find something that only take half an hour to do every day or every other day I think there is a TAE BO 30 minute workout that would really be great to get the heart rate up and get ya moving. Way to go on the 3 pounds that's totally AWESOME. and I know those losses sure do help with the feelings for the day. YA, you're doign awesome I am SO VERY PROUD OF YOU!!! You'll figure out what you need to do to get it done I know it.

                                How is everyone elese doing doday is my Big run will probably take me 2 hours or less but. all is good in the land of Sarah I am excited to go and looking forward to the time for myself it'll be awesome. The only problem is that I can't do this one outside becuae it's raining so bad and the other kicker is my hubby isn't home I amy have attempted it even in the rain LOL. Can you say I'm sick. Well it comes down to wanting really badly to get to goal and I will get there.

                                I ahve to tell you all it was soooooo cool yesterday I got googled at when I was walking down the street I was all beautified and I had 4 guys like 9 years younger honking and whistling can you say EGO boost. I know some wouldn't take that as a compliment but I sure did and it was awesome. I also put on some lingie I have had in my closet forever since christmas after I had my first like 5 years ago it was so aweosme it fit and BOY I looked really great in it except the boobie pieces were WAY too big (DEPRESSING) I'll have to take the cup in like 2 sizes darn it.

                                Any how I better go have a wonderful day and Keep on Trucking Yankee you'll do it.
