So did you have a nice day off Roshan?

We weren't too busy today so I spent most of the time at the computer.

Today I have had a slice of flax bread and 4 small cherry toms for breakfast and a 3-egg omelette with ham and cheese filling with a cup of mixed salad for lunch.
Not sure what to do for dinner - I have lots of broccolli stalks in the fridge so might make broccolli chips (fries) with them as veggies with perhaps some boiled celery as well - but cant remember what meat I have in the fridge!!
      Edited to add:
When i looked in the fridge I found a wooshie pie (hamburger and cheese pie) I made a few days ago when I couldnt buy the usual small pack of mince (ground beef) but had to buy a double sized pack.
It took no longer to make and cook 2 instead of one and only took a few minutes to heat up for tonight.
Reminded me to start doing double meals again and put the extra one in the freezer for when I dont feel like 'proper' cooking!!

Had plenty of water so far - about 2 litres I think and will have at least one more litre tonight.

I hope all of team 5 are thriving and keeping with the 'programme' :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Today I started off with cheese scrambled eggs (2) and 4 pork sausages. Lunch was romain lettuce with chunks of chicken and creamy ceasar dressing. Dinner will be chicken soup made with chicken, cauliflower, and broccoli. Before dinner snack 3 pork sausages.

I'm will go to Curves for a 30 minute workout before dinner.

Water = 2 litres so far and one more to go.

I was at the campus bookstore today and I just looked at all the carb and sugar snacks and really was not at all tempted. This evening I was reading my DANDR and I really connected with the promise:

"Lose weight! Increase energy! Look great!"

Thats what I want and this program will give it to me. So why would I want to each high carb snacks. All they promise is that you will gain weight, decrease energy, and look fat. Who wants that? Not me!!

              Great :joy Michelle!
Now all we need is for some kind computer wizard to make us a graphic to suit our team name - offers anyone? I am afraid it takes me all my knowledge to log on and update my profile from time to time :yikes

Sorry to hear you had a hard day yesterday Dee but good to see you are more organised today. This WOE is sometimes quite a steep learning curve when we start but you are doing well to adjust. And instead of eating something else you made do with the best option available :hug

I got great news today. I have been accepted into ha Boot Camp. I applied last Nov. One of my goals this year is to complete a Boot Camp and to get 100% clean on induction then move into OWL properly.

I am very excited and I have a lot of work to do but I will not abandon our team.

I've been using FitDay to occasionally record my food. Today I downloaded the PC copy and I like it a lot. I logged all of my food from yesterday and today. I can really see some mistakes I am making by not counting every single carb. :yikes I really recommend logging every bite and counting those carbs.

I have just had to call my DH into the bathroom to verify my new weight - and it is.......................................
                      TaDaah : 179 pounds :joy

Finally broke through the 100 pounds lost mark and so I hurried over here first thing to tell my team the news.

I have been trying so hard not to panic over staying the same for several weeks and have started to measure and weigh everything before I cook it again in case there was some 'carb creep' going on.

It is the first 'woosh' I have noticed too - yesterday morning I was still at 182.5!

I asked the wooshie fairy to go visit you girls now so let's keep our fingers crossed!

Just read the new posts on this thread and want to add my congrats to Michelle on getting into Boot Camp :wave
I have never felt I could commit the time and effort into it but I am sure you will do well with the enthusiasm you always show, Michelle.

That was good going Roshan - who would have thought you could walk so far just windowshopping!!

I have a stepometer but have never really used it. Must get it out again and try. Do you clip it to your waist or your sock?

Have a good day everyone and happy Atkineering!!

WOOHOOOOOOOO for you ellizellen :joy :joy :joy you finally got going again,im so pleased for you ,sometimes we have to go back to the basics of weighing and measuring again cos i know if i dont ,those portions do start to get a tad bigger.
I wear my stepometer on my socks cos ive found that when i attach it to my waist its just the right level to knock back to '0' if i happen to lean against anything(kitchen work surfaces being the main culprit).

Have a great weekend all and dont forget to send wooshie fairy up north when you've finished with her ellizellen.

Might it be worth sending those missing members each a pm? They might have forgotten that the challenge started this week.
