I've been sick and really busy at work. I typically am on this board during the day while at work (don't tell the boss!), but I've been really busy and at night, since I haven't been feeling well (typical head cold), I've been going to bed early and not logging on from home.
By this weekend, I'm planning to get back to serious exercise. I have been eating as I should and drinking my water, but to get those pounds going down again, I REALLY need to get moving.
My advice to the newbies: read the chapter in DANDR about vitamins and suppliments. Once I made sure I was taking what Dr. Atkins suggested, I found that it made a world of difference in how I feel and how consistiently I lost weight (even if I slipped up and cheated!). I still swear by L-carnatine. Just my $.02
Man I'm glad the server is back up... I was starting to have withdrawls!..lol
It is soooooooooooooo COLD in our building today and I'm having a hard time drinking my water...ugg.. looks like I'll get the rest of it tonight from home.
I'm still doing great.. no cheating and so far I've walked 2 miles every night this week and hit a few weight machines each time. My daughter (tomboy) and I played basketball and football for 30 minutes Mon night. Got so hot thought I was going to be sick.
I'm weighing every single day. I just can't seem to help myself. But the scale is moving in the right direction everyday and I've lost 14 lbs since the 1st. Still don't have much of an appetite.. found that I love Beef Pepperoni Sticks, so I grab one of those (no carbs) when I know I can't eat a whole meal. And I really am trying to do better about eating more.. really.. I promise.
I'm going to read the chapter on vitamins and supplements again and see what all I can be taking. I hate all pills but will suck it up if it will help me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I hope you all are doing great. Can't wait to see what our total goal is for the group. So far I can contribute 2.4 lbs for the team!!! lol.. not much but it's something.

2big thanks for the info. I am doing okay, tomorrow we are having a meeting at work and someone is going to win a free lunch. A couple of my co-workers were saying that if I win they should just give me some bacon, and eggs.
Hi all: Sounds like everyone is having a great week! OK, now for the question of the week...are we going to do a weekly weigh in? I can't do the scale everyday. Can we pick a day and everyone post together? Maybe next Thursday? Thursday's always seemed to work well in the past.
I'm sorry for not posting on the 11th. my goal is to lose 150lbs. I want to lose 60lbs by july 1st. I have been so tired this week, but I'm continuing on. Go team3!!!
I've been extremely busy as of late, with my son's bar-mitzvah coming up in two weeks!

Pounds needed to lose: just three or so until stated goal....but about 13 until the new goal I will be setting.
Goal: Get to Curves at least three times per week!
okay somebody check the math but it loks like our total is 834.8 counting just Ragtime Girl's current goal pounds all we need is warsaw and we are set to go. I haven't seen him in chat or on the board in the past week have any of y'all?

Maxi.. Thank you! I swear I live by this board. It keeps me so motivated and knowing that I have a great team that is so supportive and going through the same thing with me helps so much! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 5LB LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also lost 5.2 lbs the first 3 days and I was hooked! Keep up the great work!
I've lost 15 lbs total and 3.4 go toward the challenge!
Sunday morning is my official 2 week induction weigh in.. I originally wanted to lose just 12 lbs, when I reached 12 I said I'll go for 15 and now that I've reached 15... I'm hoping for 17!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyday before I weigh... I yell out GO FAT GO! This morning I scared my cat.... hahahahahahahahahahhahahaha
okay it is oficial we list our total goal weight not how much we want to lose during the competion and Pammie is extending the deadline because the board has been acting up to give Warsaw ane folk on other teams a chance to show up before removing them from the teams. he will not count against us if he don't post his start weight to lose.
How many of y'all have sent him a PM remeinding him about it with a link to us?
Are all of you signed up for one of the varios exercise challenges we had bickers, walkers runners, 6 weekers anything you want we have the ADB pres challenge with all kinds of Activities and of courrse there is the TDL CC exercise challenge for all the CC memebers here in our forum and you pick your own weekly exercise goals and report on Monday if you made goal or not. Being a part of something really helps keep you going as you really really don't want to come to the board and tell all those folks in the TDL who are just as big as you just as busy as you and know all the excuses you know that you didn't do your exercise for the week.
And every biody having water issues there is a water drinking challenge too you can ding up for.
