I'm here. I'ts been a hard couple of weeks for me. My department was reorganized a couple of weeks ago and the job that they had for me was not one that I wanted to take. Consequently, I've been spending every day looking for a new position in the company. It's been rough. I don't know if I'll be employed after the 11th and I've been networking my butt off! You'd think it would be a little smaller at this point. I'm still fighting the exercise, and I can't say that I've stayed true to the Atkins WOL, but I've done the best I can.
How about everyone else?
2Big: I know, you're still leading the charge! I only wish I had your dedication.
Sneal: School going well? The beach in July, huh? Did you already pick out a new bikini?
LandsMom: I haven't seen a post from you in a while. How are you doing?
Fina: Looks like the weight is falling off of you! Keep up the great work!
Friendly: Where are you? I haven't seen you for a while either.
Warsaw: How are you doing? Back on track?
darolyn39: How was San Antonio? Did you take long walks and avoid that lovely Mexian Food?
Ragtime Gal: Hey Sharon, Have you managed to incorporate Curves into your routine?
MaxiBear: Are you still on track? Any more slips, or do you have it under control now?
Michele: Where are you? Still hanging in there?
Lasst: Lynn, I saw that you're down 30 pounds, way to go!
OK everyone, we need to hear from you. Don't make me send 2Big out to track you down. Hope you're all doing well.Monica (F/5'3"/45)

Thanks, Monica! I am still here. No more slips, really, but not seeing the weight come off as much as I would like.I am being extra careful this week to make sure that hidden carbs aren't sneaking up on me. Also I have cut back on the diet lemonade thinking maybe that is part of the problem. Just hanging in there. Good luck with your job situation.SW 255/CW 255/GW 155

Hi everyone!!
I am still on the wagon, but very busy with work and we are looking for a new apartment to move to. This one just seems too small. My husband is driving me nutty. But I am being faithful. BTW Friday is my birthday and hubby wants to take me out to dinner, but I can't figure out a place to go to that is atkins friendly. :help

well........
thats a good question......
the good thing is my work load has now eased up. I think my work day for the last 4 months has been far to long for me and i was eating out of control from that a bit. SO thats a plus for me to get on track again.
now my marriage is giving me troubles.........and i guess that lovely divorce word is going on once again in my marriage due to problems
their. HUGE problems.
THIS week, however, i got myself the worst...but maybe this will put me actually back on track...I just wasnt feeling well SCARY kind of things that i wont detail...I as sick as this sounds wont go to the doctor cause I know he is gonna tell me to loose weight. Out of total disgust i even made an appointment yesterday with a surgeon, yes for weight loss surgery, but I am gonna cancel that and try to do this again. After thinking this thru.I dont know im very upset that I cant seem to get on the loosing wagon......and im just a flip flopping mess.....maybe be the DIVORCE word around here will help me get on track, hate to admit......but i guess just idling in a rotten marriage makes me not care about me some. But knowing i might have a chance to make happy out of life might motivate me more.
SO im gonna give it my all best now.
I confessed here that i havent been doing well, yet every beginning of the week i start out with the mind set to suceed. SOMEHOW, the week goes on and i fall off, this has been the pattern that i need to break. I have gone to the gym 4 times this week (after i get their this am) and im doing okay.
Well thats were i am...
no one reason for anything....
maybe all this = big time depression
i dont know
thanks team.
GOd knows i want and need to be a looser and in better health!
thanks for listening

know that the only thing you can absolutely control is what goes in your mouth. so take control of that aspect of your life. :yes
every day start out weith a plan and follow through. then plan the next day and day by day babystep your way to weeks connected together of eating according to Atkins. if you do happen to have a slip make the next bite atrkins don't say well I messed up I'll restart tomorrow now where si that rockyroad icecream gallon? you can do this
Have you gotten your goal written out? I'd strongly recommend you read Bill Phillips book Body for life and all the things he has to say about making changes in your lifecjust don't follow the diet advice is all.
. Run to the TDL exercise challenge and check out the SMART goals info for this week too.
Once you have your battle plan drawn up you will see how easy it is to baby step your way to goal and take control of your eating your exercise your health and your happiness.

Friendly2 - I totally agree with 2big. With all the chaos in your life right now, how you eat can be the one totally structured, totally controlled by you aspect of your life. Not only will that in itself give you confidence to tackle the other issues, but you will be doing something really great for your body.Originally posted by 2big4mysizeknow that the only thing you can absolutely control is what goes in your mouth. so take control of that aspect of your life. :yes
We're here for you! You CAN do it!

I've lost another pound, so I'm at -32!!
The REALLY cool news is that today I'm comfortably in 18W (non-stretch) twill pants. (My journey so far: 20W Stretch Twills, 20W Non-Stretch, 20 Non-Stretch, 18W Non-Stretch.) Also, these are my Eddie Bauer pants. All of my bigger pants were Land's End stretch twills in 20W. IMO, LE pants are a little roomier than EB pants. I also have EB slim cut twills in 18 (NO W!) that I CAN get into, but right now, they're just a little too tight than I'd like them.
Time to get rid of the 20W stretch twills....If anyone wants some Lands End Stretch twills in 20W. They are 'dressy casual' medium weight stretch twill pants with single front pleats, slash pockets and regular waistband (no elastic). They have a 29" inseam and I have them in black, olive, stone, khaki and navy. I've worn them a lot over the last two years, but they are still in rather nice condition (I've worn them to work until now they're just too baggy on me). I think I paid $44/ea. All I ask is that you pay shipping. I have a paypal account. PM me if you're interested.
