        Good Morning Folks

Well, I had a great week: Lost 3 more!!

Wow, this one's going to be close but this is my very first challenge. 6 lbs. in 11 days is going to be really tough!! I joined this challenge when I was still losing really fast so it looks like I may have misjudged a little. But you just never know when the "whoosh" fairy will come to visit on this WOE. It's really tempting to cut back on my carbs to try and make it under the line but I don't want to disrupt things right know because things are going so well. Also, my treadmill won't be delivered until after the holidays so my aerobic exercise is also lacking... O.K. I know... enough excuses already!!

Anyway, I'm not too worried as there will always be another challenge and I have a much better idea of how much I can lose now that my body seems to have settled into fairly steady rate of weight loss. Of course I have yet to be visited by the "stall" fairy too!!

O.K. all, I'm heading out to little sister's house tommorrow for the holidays so Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year. Should be goal weight year for me!!

Congrats on the 3 pounds Chopper! You are doing great! Yes, you never know when the whoosh fairy will come to visit. Just keep doing what you're doing.

I lost SIX pounds this week! I'm only 1.8 pounds away from my challenge goal. I'm so excited! I'm so glad I had success this week because it has motivated me even more to stay on track through the holidays.

I am still at 275 so I am just checking in to let you know that I am still in this. I seem to be stuck right now on this number and I am getting kind of angry about it. Oh well. Just two more pounds to go and I will be at my goal for this.

This is the second time trying Atkins and hopefully this time it will be a permanent life change for me.

Congratulations to all of you on your losses. I'm officially reporting in, but with a gain rather than a loss. I've been struggling for a few months, and recently been especially "bad" -- I'm HOPING that I'm back on track, but there's no way I'll make my 185 goal by Jan. 1. That's okay, though... as long as I'm headed back in the right direction, I'm satisfied.

Best of luck to all of you -- and thanks again, Liz, for leading such a great challenge!

Today for lunch I wanted something different. So, I made some fried zucchini. I used one medium zucchini, 1 egg, 1.5 tbsps. heavy cream, and ground pork skins. Oh my gosh!! They were delish!! Yummo!! See below:
