I got 10 minutes on my bike today and 10 minutes of walking.......still no weight loss but Im trying to eat a bit more since Cat enlightened me. I am tempted to stay off the scales this week and give it a chance to work and to see what happens if you dont mind Liz.

          Hello everyone!

Gosh I feel bad for not checking in for so long. I'm just now getting back into my exercise routine after not being at it for a week. Happy to report that I'm Day 4 Cheat free. I had a slip with some fried chicken breaded in white flour, OUCH... also some sugar free cookies w/ white flour, Double ouch.. The good news is that I'm back on track and I'm right at 257.5. I'm waiting to hear from my doctor about my thyroid. Went and had some lab yesterday to address that. Looking forward to not having to fight for every 155 pounds that I've lost and get back to goal. Talk about frustration.
Anywho, Congratulations to all of you. You're all still here and holding yourselves accountable. That's what it's about, "YOU", Take care of you and everything else will fall into place!Wishing all of you a wonderful evening.

                  Hey Everyone

Today is check in day for me so here we go.

                  CW: 248
Exercise Minutes for this last week: 180

I went a little light on the exercise this last week since I think I overdid it the week prior. I just got a new treadmill a few weeks ago and have been alternating cardio one day and weight training the next. Well, I got a little overzealous and started "overtraining" if anybody is familiar with that term. I was literally working out 6 days in a row and my my poor old bod didn't respond very well, especially my joints!! I injured my left elbow in the weight room and both my knees were begging for a rest so I took a 4 day break from any exercise last week. Best thing I ever did... When I did start exercising again, I felt like a million bucks. So anyway, 3 hours this week is still not bad and am going to try and get a steady 4 hours a week from now on with scheduled rest days here and there.

Also, I'm REALLY happy on OWL rung 1 so I'm going to stay here at least until I get on the good side of 200 lbs.

Great job everybody and I'll be checking in again soon.

Ok, I was just looking at your bike and it made me think of the movie "Wild Hogs"? Have you (or anyone here) seen it? It's hilarious. It has John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen (and some serious guy that I can never remember his name).
