Sherri, you are one strong woman. There's no way I could stay off the scale for 2 more weeks! lol Good for you. And congrats on those inches coming off too.

Lori, I totally agree... I never realized how much good exercise can do for the body until I started doing it consistently. The key is finding something you enjoy and making it a habit... a hobby, if you will. I'm glad you found yours... Swimming! I'm jealous. I wish I had a pool!
    Thank you Liz,
You and all the challengers have helped me more that I can say. I believe I'm headed to goal and going to stay there this time. Any thoughts of what we may want the next challenge to be after this one? Maybe start shooting some ideas around. Hope you're feeling better Liz.

105 more minutes for me today. For the first time this morning, I walked for a solid hour on the treadmill. My hip was hurting by the time I got through, so I might not do a whole hour for a while, maybe 30 minutes twice a day.

Congrats on that pound down Jammie!

Sherri, I'm definitely up for another challenge. These things help me more than you guys know! It's always good to have accountablity. Well, the first day of summer is 6/20. We could have a summer challenge or a 4th of July Challenge. What do you guys think?

I don't know if I can do another challenge in the summer. I'm supposed to go in June to buy a bridesmaid gown (expensive). I think I'll maintain at that weight until the wedding is over in September because I refuse to pay $100 for alterations.

I am up for a summer challenge too.

I only lost 0.6 of a pound (198 even) but I am happy I am somewhat firmly ensconced in onderland and it wasn't a fluke due to me being sick. Even though the jeans fit better I measured and didn't see a loss in size, I thought that was weird.

If you have to take that dress in, that'd be the happiest 100 dollars you ever spent

I'm in for a summer challenge.

Only got another 30 minutes in, but I'm down 4.6 LBS for the week, and 3.5 inches.

I would like to suggest we add start/end pictures to the next challenge phase, and maybe measurements. We're still all way to scale addicted around here, myself included. I only pulled 1lb the last few weeks even though the tapemeasure and pictures really showed a difference, and that pound nagged me in my head a little.

Probably (if I had the money). Unfortunately, my job pays little and being the single mommy means budgeting almost non-existent funds. $100 could be extra clothes for my little one who always comes first.

YAY! Congrats on those 4.6 pounds Digital. I hear ya on the scale addiction. I'm a daily weigher and sometimes it can get a bit discouraging. I've tried the tape measure thing and that just frustrates me even more. lol My inches seem to melt off slow or either I'm not being as accurate as I think. I love seeing before and after pics so I think that would be a good addition to our challenge. I'd like to keep the exercise portion too. I think posting our minutes has helped challenge everyone to get moving.

Cat, we'll miss you if we have a challenge without you. But I understand where you're coming from. My good friend and workout partner is getting married in 8 months. She has already ordered her dress but ordered it several sizes too small! YIKES! She did it on purpose to motivate herself to stick with her program. lol She has no choice now...she's got to lose those inches or her dress won't fit.
