I'm still at 206.4. Since I started exercising two weeks ago (nothing major) my weight has stalled out. I'm getting so frustrated!! Ok, I know I'm impatient but I want to wake up tomorrow (no, today) skinny!!

Well I wanna wake up skinny yesterday I hear your pain Cat!! You don't think maybe your stall has something to do with muscle gain? I'm ticked about where I'm losing too. Very resistant hips and gut!!!

Hi Purple, if you just started exercising you may not be drinking enough water. You should add 8 oz for every 15 minutes you exercise at the minimum.

Also, your body is going to try and hold onto fat because its fuel and your body doens't have a clue what you are doing to it NOW lol.

So just hang in there, make sure your cals are sufficient and your water is sufficient.

Many people start exercising and don't up their water intake and therefore without realizing are actually dehydrating themselves.

Other than that, just keep trugging on you will see the difference in your clothes soon even if the scale isn't being cooperative.

Heck pat yourself on the back FOR being dedicated to your exercising!!

Liz, 45 minutes running on the treadmill yesterday. Thanks! (I'll keep a tally in my signature which hopefully will help make it easier for you to keep up with. Plus, it's motivating to see those minutes add up!)

Hey Brian, That will work perfectly. We'll look forward to getting your updates every Monday.

Adena, I think I'll put my minutes in my siggy too! It'll be nice watching the minutes add up. lol

Cat, I know how frustrating that can be... hang in there. I'm right there with you, so anxious for my weigh-in on Monday. Oh, and by the way, you're not weighing every day are you, if you are, then DON'T! Trust me! It can get really discouraging. PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALE!!

I did 120 minutes of exercise today. I did my 1 hr. Interval class and then my 1 hr. Kick class. It was great!

Thanks Chicklady, jrny, and Liz. I've upped my water intake considerably - especially this week. I am so tired right now that I can't think straight.

Liz, I am a scaleaholic. I fully admit it. If I don't weigh myself then I'll think about it all day (worse is that if the scale is not showing something remarkable, I'll think about it in a bad way all day). I can't win. I surrender.

My # of minutes is under the banner you created....along with the ticker for weight loss which is a BIG FAT STINKING 0.

                            Ok, enough already:

                              Hey Cat,

I know how tough it can be a scale watcher, so far this time I have really only stuck to weighing once a week. Other times I used to weigh everyday (or in AM PM etc..) and drove myself crazy. So try to force yourself, once a week and same time and circumstances. It's like breaking the sugar addicition, once you do it you will feel so much better.

                              Just my two cents worth.
