    I walked 30 minutes today. Stats are 780/1000. I'm getting closer to both goals.


    I have to agree with Porcelain. Although I used to exercise about 1.5 hours each day, if I tried it now I'd be laid out somewhere requiring mouth-to-mouth resuscitation (preferably by Dwayne Johnson...aka..The Rock). LOL!!

      Liz, I'm still struggling with the scale, so no loss there... and I refuse to record a gain!

      Exercise for the week was 270 minutes.

        What a week! My back is finally feeling normal again. So... I will be back working out again tomorrow. I need to get my butt in gear or I am not going to make my goal. I stepped on my fancy digital scales yesterday and it told me that I weighed 0.00 pounds. I figured the battery needed to be replaced so I changed it. Lo and behold I still weigh 0 pounds! So, I have no idea what I lost last week. I'll update my stats when I get a new one....

          What I know:
          1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
          2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
          3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
          4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                  Haha...you girls are funny. I bet you'd suprise yourself at how long you could really go. If my fat butt can do it, anybody can do it. That's my motto!

                  Snap, glad to hear your back is feeling better. What will be your exercise of choice today?

                  I'm happy to report a 2.4 pound loss for the week! This puts me at 319 pounds! YAY! Finally in the 3teens! Doing a little happy dance!!!!!

                    Good morning everyone!

                    I really enjoyed my long weekend. I wish I had a 3-day weekend EVERY weekend.

                    I've decided that I have to get to the gym this week... Everybody help give me that boost I really need. I keep using the excuse that there isn't enough time. (There really isn't) but I need to make time... Even if it's just for 30 min on the treadmill...

                      I will probably do the elliptical machine. That is my favorite thing to do and all. I think I am going to avoid weights for a few more days.
                      I was reading this ad for hip hop abs yesterday. That looks like a fun set of workout videos. Have any of you ever done those?

                        LOL Porcelain and Lori!! I also think Don Diamont (Brad on The Young and The Restless), Joshua Morrow (Nick on The Young and The Restless), and Morris Chestnut are delish!! Can you tell I'm addicted to the Young and the Restless? Thank goodness for DVRs.

                            I love the elliptical too Snap. It's a great workout. I haven't done it in awhile though. I've gotten stuck on taking classes.

                            Sher... you should definitely go to the gym this week!! 30 minutes on the treadmill would be a great start and ease you back into your routine of going. Wish we lived closer and I'd go with you!
