I'm doing snazz with the spazz.

I've had my 'sodium platter' for breakfast but I've tossed the nuts and implemented celery for crunch instead. The nuts were making me crave sugar something awful, and celery's more healthy.

Good morning, Angels! this has been a week for me, and I fell of the wagon. I ate french fries and a Dairy Queen blizzard, and had 2 diet Cokes this morning.

Just so you know, I'm not perfect.

If anyone else is struggling, we're all in this together.

I guess I should follow this up to say that eating highly refined carbs isn't a good thing and I'm not saying, "woohoo! It's great to eat highly refined carbs and let's all do it together!"

It's a decision I made this week, and I'm moving past it now.

I meant it to mean that if others have stopped posting due to falling off of the wagon, there's no judgement coming from this queen of de west nile virus.

              Let's get back to it.

Hey chickies! Glad everyone is doing well! And glad to hear the Cleo is human, after all. hehe

I'm doing pretty darn good.. well, with my FOOD anyway. I'm still not very consistent w/ my exercise. I've been doing better tho!

                B-slimfast low carb bar
L- salad w/ grilled chicken and cheese w/ ranch
                D-Chicken w/ melted cheese

Ya know... it's really weird but, it seems that eating some carbs seems to kickstart my weightloss. I know that it generally isn't encouraged or condoned, but sometimes that works for me. A couple of weeks ago I was out to dinner w/ my hubby and ordered a hamburger and broccoli. They mistakenly brought out french fries. They got my side of broccoli, but as I sat there, I ate about 10 of the french fries. I consistently lost weight the rest of the week. It's not something I do often. Actually I think it's the 3rd time since December.

I've had no problems w/ willpower. I just don't even want to eat anything I'm not supposed to. I made the Dreamfield's pasta last weekend. I was afraid that it would make me start craving pasta again... Nope. Actually, I had the leftovers in the fridge for several days before I tossed them in the trash. And it wasn't because it wasn't tasty.. I really liked it alot.

Oh well.. didn't mean to write a book, but that's what's on my mind this evening.

                Later Angels!

                  I'm shore human!

Actually, I'm enough for two of them...

Though I guess that's not that good a thing, is it?

I think you have a high metabolism if your body needs french fries to lose the weight. I ate fries last night and blew the derned covers off the bed all night long.

Good thing I wasn't sleeping near an open flame.

But that was a TMI moment wasn't it.

Cleo - how did you know I was embarassed to post?? I'm just so sick of failing at this and it's hard to let everyone else know what a disaster I am. I've been on a downhill slide since I got sick and then my mom wound up in the hospital for a week and . . . well, you get the picture. I've never been very good at planning ahead and sitting in a hospital room all day and all night threw me into a tailspin. I'm trying to get things back on track now. I'm up 2 lbs. but I'm hoping most of it is water (since I've had almost nothing but diet coke for 2 weeks now.

                        B- Cheese Omelet

                        L - Chicken Chili

D - Corned Beef and Cabbage

                        Water - I'm really trying

                        Exercise - no

How was everybody's weekend? I had a cheat this weekend. I drank 3 margaritas on Saturday night, and believe me I felt so bad the next day that it was definatly not worth it. It is time for me to make a re-commitment.

                            RE-COMMITMENT:
Starting today I will start a super clean new induction, I will read DANDR over again, I will drink all of my water, I will take my vitamins daily, and I will work out at least 3 times a week. Even when I can't get to the gym I will pull out my workout tape, NO MATTER WHAT!!

I don't know about you guys but I have been slacking BIG TIME! and I am sick of it. I need to get my butt in gear, I mean I wouldn't be here if I didn't need to lose weight and these last few months it seems like I have just been making excuses for myself. The fact of the matter is I am not healthy, and this WOE is a major step to getting healthy. I mean just because I can fit into funky clothes and look better naked (TMI?) doesn't mean that I'm done, far from it.

So if you guys feel that it would help to post your recommitment then lets do it. Do you guys remember when Atkin Angels had the most hits, it was so fun, I couldn't wait to get on here and check out what hilarious thing someone was going to post next. Lets get back into that spot. I know we can do it! I know we can reach our weight loss goals. Who is with me?
