      I exercised last night!!! I know, that shouldn't be such a big deal but everything done right is an accomplishment for me right now.

      B - two scrambled eggs, coffee

      L - taco salad (hamburger seasoned w/chili powder, garlic salt and cumin, lettuce, cheddar cheese, 1 T. salsa mixed w/ranch dressing)

      D - roast and fauxtatoes

      I'm meeting a friend to walk at the mall after work so that will be two days in a row that I get some exercise.

      I'm so tired of this being such a struggle!

        At first I didn't post last week, because I just am discouraged, you know, same old same old, nothing lost, nothing gained. No new exercise goals, just kind of humming along. Blah, blah, blah. And then it got busy, bought a new used car, MIL has stage 3 cancer, grades due, Cinco de Mayo (big deal for Spanish teachers), used car died, used car in shop. And then I had some cake, but still, nothing lost, nothing gained. At least the weather is nicer. MIL starts chemo tomorrow. She has lived an unhealthy lifestyle for years, so it is finally catching up with her. She has no job, and her unemployment ran out in January, it is just a sad state. I hope she makes it through fully, or she goes quick. She is just a bag of bones at this point. I can't really help her until school is out, we just try to be there when we can. At least we are all in the same town. Bleh. So that's me. It's nice to come back to the board and read about everybody's menus and soap operas. Love ya Girls! Ann

            Thanks Laurenfra... I think the boards are keeping me from chucking it all. At least I am not gaining. Today a student who had me 4 years ago came to observe me because she wants to be a Spanish teacher. She told me that years were gone from my face- and she had me 4 years ago! So, that was nice.

              Hello Ladies

              I'm back! Yes I know I dropped off the face of the earth but I've returned from Mars and I have nothing good to report. I've gained ten pounds and I know that I belong here.

              Thanks for keeping me on the list and I hope that all of you have had some great success with keeping the weight off. I hope in the near future to have the same success.

                        Well, I had my worst cheat ever and ate 4 chocolate chip cookies. Total impulse binge. So, I am up to 213. My stomach reminded me not to do it again. Ugh. Back on track today. I am debating about whether or not to re-do Induction. I have gotten super sloppy, and I am thinking that there are just certain things that I can't eat, and I feel a need to be a purist again. Then, I think, just get rid of those puppies and pay more attention to calories. Then, I think, wait until school is over, then get serious about exercising. Everything is so much easier when I can be focused, and these last few weeks are stressful. Well, I'll be interested for some advice and I will be planning again. I am fighting off a cold too, and have decided my main weapon will be water, so I am up to 120 oz, plus green tea. So, for right now, it is just enough to maintain, and then we will ramp it up.

                              OK, I'm back. I'm bad.

                              Well, I'm back anyway!

                              Count this as my first day of induction after a wee bit of wagon-falling-off-of. I did have an Atkins'-happy dinner last night, so I'm back on track.

                              I've got to say my blood pressure was starting to rise again and I was starting to get acid reflux, and I really haven't put any weight back on. It was caused by diet alone! Or being off of the diet, rather.

                              I've got a long way to go, but we'll all make it a pound at a time!
