Actually . . . . I'm down 2!!! I think it's because I've been so active lately working in the yard and on the house. I've actually been eating more. Maybe I've been stuck for so long because I haven't been eating enough? The increase in activity and in food seem to be helping. The scale says I'm down 2 lbs. but my close feel looser than I would expect for such a small amount. I'm a happy camper right now!!!

I'm holding steady - no additional loss, but no gain either. I'm exercising and drinking my water.

We leave on our vacation Saturday. We're going to Platoro,Colorado and I'm really excited. I didn't reach my weight loss goal for the trip, but atleast I'm lighter than I was. Hiking will be a challenge but I think I'm up to it!

I hope you have a great time. Think ahead to what you will eat so you dont fall off plan. This will be a great boost to your weight loss with all the exercise you will be getting.

Thanks Lauren! I've been thinking ahead. I put myself in charge of the meal planning for the trip :yes I think I've managed to come up with some things that will be liked by everyone and legal for me. I'm cooking a big brisket tonight and freezing it for the trip - also taking lots of snacky stuff like pepperoni, string cheese, celery, chicken salad, etc. Hopefully we'll catch enough trout to have fish for dinner every night!

sigh...hello. I know I haven't been around and I have absolutly no excuse. I felt so ashamed after my nacho cheat that I didn't even feel right posting. I know this is crazy and that you guys are here for me, but I just felt aweful. Man! one plate of nachos caused me to gain about 4 pounds. Luckily I am back down, I have been working hard and have kicked those 4 pounds to the curb.

Ok, check in: I am doing good, trying to get out early before the heat for walking at least 3 times a week. Last week i worked out 4 times. :yikes that's big for me. I have been drinking all my water, and my food has been almost perfect. I had too much sugar free jello last night, that stuff is addictive, I am not making it again!

Hope everyone else is doing great. Sorry to hear about you guys house stuff, and cleo's flu. Maybe this week will be better for everybody.

Well, I am back on the boards, and back on Atkins.com recording everything. These were the keys to my success last year, so onward and downward I hope to move on the scales. I ate a brownie yesterday, now there are no more brownies in the house, no carb-friendly ice cream, and I figured out that cheese makes me sleepy, (really scarily sleepy) so no more cheese, and I am drinking some OoO in my water. I am going to read the yeast thread, and becoming the crazy Atkineer I once was. No excuses, and no start overs in a minute. Love ya all, Ann

HI! I'm doing really good with my exercise, snacking, and portion control... By snacking I mean that I am doing it. I think it helps me to eat little things through out the day. Yesterday I did the 1 mile WATP in the am and then ran 1.5 miles in the evening. I did the 3 mile this am. I am down 3 lbs since Monday and so pleased about it. It helps to be able to go to the bathroom whenever I want, too, since I couldn't do that at school. Here's to a successful summer!
