Hi - welcome to our international family

Have you got one of those insulated bags or those plastic coated blocks you can freeze overnight to keep food cold?

If so then my favourite would be easy - just buy some presliced ham and presliced cheese and make rollups - a slice of cheese on a slice of ham made into a sort of swiss roll. I get peppered ham and gouda cheese slices from Lidl which are just the right size to make a filling snack along with a few cherry tomatoes
BTW I also make these for any parties we need to 'bring a plate' to - but cut them into small slices and lay them around the plate and call them 'pinwheels'. They always disappear quickly!!

Other easy snacks are precooked roast chicken drumsticks, thighs or wings or celery sticks with cream cheese in the groove or even pate - Somerfields do a great Duck pate with low carb count.

All these can easily be prepared the evening before and refridgerated so they can be grabbed on your way out of the door to work.

how is your induction going so far?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

But i feel a bit thinner, wont weight myself till weds morning to see how wk 1 went -- thanks for the packing up ideas. Whats the best cream cheese to use? Ive had to start shopping all over again after yrs of just stocking up on the usual light or diet things, that funnily enough did nothing

Ive had a mare finding the ketone teststrips, went to 4 chemists including Boots and they all looked at me like I was asking for a liquidised alien, mainly because "atkins was a fad" lol So i ordered some off the internet last night.

              glad you are enjoying induction

I get my cream cheese from Waitrose because their own brand is lower in carbs than philly is.

Yep - Blackberries, Raspberries, Blackcurrents and Redcurrents.

I throw two ounces on top of 5 oz of Total Greek Yogurt which I have flavoured with expensive vanilla extract a sweetened with a teaspoon of Splenda.

I even give it to Mother and sister as part of a dessert when I do a meal for them - sweetened with splenda they think it is just as tasty as ice-cream!!

Asda are doing some interesting 2 for £5 meals, mainly chickeny things. Saw a nice chicken and mozzerella thing wrapped in bacon. Claimed to be nil carbs, had a lot of nasty additives in the ingredient list though.

sainsbury's do some taste the difference toulouse ones which are 0.3 per sausage. But im after just plain pork ones as these have too much seasonning for my taste

I agree - The Sainsbury's range is too highly seasoned.

Try Waitrose - they do a Premium range of own brand sausages. I eat them a lot.

Although not what you asked, if you have a Lidl near you, try the Bratwurst.
