      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        I LOVE pedicures. I treat myself once a month. My toes always look pretty LOL.

        I feel relaxed when I have a clean vehicle, so I will go through an auto car wash each month as well.

        I really love to shop. I like desginer bags, clothes, shoes - but of course can never really afford them. I will save and save and then take a shopping spree every quarter.

        I like to burn candles. I will buy candles as I need them, but make it a day of shopping for candles and stuff for our home - with a buddy of course.

          Great ideas everyone!

          I will put lipstick one everday. No matter how I feel. I will try for mascara and eyeshadow too. I will put on some form of girly smelling lotion everyday! (Bath and Body Works, here I come!).

            I need to get a manicure soon, sounds like a friday activity to me!

            I'm also planning my next treat: avocadoes stuffed with crabmeat. probably more prosciutto and piave cheese too, that was SO yummy.

              Oooh Crabmeat...........Mmmmm

              Im hungry all of the sudden.................

              I am heading in town tomorrow for an errand/shopping trip with my daugher and we are going to hit the book store but I am also thinking it is reward time. Lots of ideas to pull from here.

              I am adding to my list..................

              right after the new 24 pack of Charmin

              New mascara & eye liner
              Bath and Body works right next door to the bookstore!
              A photo booth session with DD just for kicks (whilest taking a run around the mall for a good heart pumpin' walk)

                Terry, that sounds like fun!!!

                KnickKnack - How do you come up with these ideas? I'm not a fan of crab meat, but I like that you have all of these unique food things to try. Keep us posted on your new creations!!

                  I'm a big giant gourmand, that's how. I love love love love eating in fancy restaurants and trying new things. I can never afford it being a grad student, but I love it. So, every once in a while I like to do something (usually an appetizer) that I've had elsewhere.

                  Plus, my dad is french and his mother taught my mom how to cook, and my parents are both on atkins. So, when I go home I have these fantastic meals, so I carry the ideas home with me.

                  I guess I just pick up things by eating different places. I don't know what next weeks treat will be though!

                          I stopped at Walgreens after Pilates last night and bought 3 cute rhinestone pins for $ 1.25 each!

                            Neat! I will often stop at the drug store and pick up a small fragrance spray or a new lip gloss or something! Just an inexpensive little pick-me-up!

                              I got my hair highlighted this week. It now looks like I've been in the sun all summer. *Grin* which is, of course, not true at all.

                              last week I got a manicure.

                              I never did my treat dinner last week though, my avocado STILL isn't ripe!!! But I have it all ready to go once it is!
