This is my 6th day of induction so I will be losing a little slower loss than some might be. Last night I was down 9 pounds for my 6 days. So with this challange I will start with Monday's weight and go from there. What are we reporting? Our menu's, our weight, our exercise, our measurements, or just our cheat free days within the 2 weeks?
March 23 - didn't weigh
March 24 - 174.2 -1.6 Atkins induction day 3 weigh-in
March 25 - 171.4 -2.8
March 26 - 168.2 -3.2
started with deserthorn's challange
March 27 - 168.2 - 0.0
March 28 - 167.4 -0.8
March 29 - 166.8 -0.6

I had a good start on clean induction today. Had 2 eggs and bacon with a bottle of water for breakfast, and a small salad top with a chicken breast and bottle of water for lunch and downing my third bottle of water now, so at least half of my water fulfillment is taking care of.
Dropped a pound overnight

Hi had a good initial start to the plan then got induction flu - argh
!! but am bettter now and am starting Day 1 of this challenge from tomorrow
- Thursday 3oth March 2006 - I plan to post a daily menu, confirm water intake and any problems I'm having - so you lot can support me - think everyone can do it their way it doesnt really matter as long as we end up smaller and healthier at the end of it - roll on 13th April. Can I just tell you I've gone down two sizes since starting on 10th March - just knew you'd want to know!!!!!

Ok all I did good for Day1 of clean induction...
breakfast-Forgot it on the counter...AKKK,
but did ok with coffee with stevia and 1T cream
lunch-can tuna 2 T mayo half a celery stalk
snack-1 1/2 oz extra sharp chedder and 8 pepperoni "chips" and 1/2 stalk of celery
dinner-boiled chicken breast in a soup I made with broth
cauliflower "rice" and a little onion and celery..nice sized bowl
Kohlarabi with butter salt n pepper
bedtime snack-chai tea with cream to balence protein/fat ratio
23 carbs 5 fiber total 18 for day
water:almost done with my gallon
exercise:20 mins fast walk at work on lunch in fitness center
I normally would drink carb countdown or soy slender in coffee but didn't have to be sure and stick to the rules. Also I didn't have SF relish in tuna since its not specifically on the induction food list.

everyone seems to be doing very well! i had 1100 calories and 17 carbs
Breakfast: 2 eggs
Lunch: chicken, broccoli, bell pepper
Dinner: steak
i also started using my supplements again today, and i feel SO much better! i take carbsmart multi-vitamin, fish oil, chromium pic., and fiber pills. i finally feel not tired which is great

oh wow!
I was feeling like I was sooooooo naughty today! I didn't even want to post or even look at fitday.
i had a friend come over, and so I ate a lot more "carby" veggies than i was going to.
but then I actually punched it in, and I did so good! 14 net carbs was all!
I guess I owe it to using lettuce as my salad veggie instead of peppers. but it did taste awwwwwwwwwwful. I was almost ready to pinch my nose and stuff it down my throat like a little kid. blej. I wish there was someway to get my salad veggies in that wasn't so painful. that's the first time in my life I've ever eaten 2 cups of lettuce! and I cheated too, I cooked it down to make it smaller
maybe ill get used to it
at least i did good on everything. carbs were 14, all my water, and 1.5K swimming! yeay me!
I hope it pays off on the scales tomorrow, but I've lost a decent amount the past few days, I really can't be so greedy

Feel like I finished up my day well. I got in another 3 bottles of water. Had some whooshie in a bowl (didn't form it, just cooked and threw in a bowl)
For my night time snack I had 4 ounces of pumpkin mixed with some SF Vanilla, cream cheese, and sprinkled with cinnamon. Hopefully the cream cheese won't be a staller for me.
Day 1 - I give myself an A+

I did good last night, I almost cheated though. I went shopping with a friend of mine and our kids. On the way home my son wanted to stop at Cracker Barrel and I sooooooo wanted to cheat and get a chicken fried chicken with potatoes but I held strong told him no repeatedly and went home to make dinner that I could have, which only included 4 carbs
So today I am down another 1/2 pound and so glad I didn't cheat!!!

...But cooked down lettuce?? Yikes!
Wish I could swim everyday.
I exercise sitting at a computer mostly, do stairs & walk.
Looks like you all had already started when I found this thread. I'm new to ADBB & DANDR but not Atkins.
Need boot camp in May. Need help w/displaying tickers, stats, pictures, & other images in profile & posts. Need mentor.
Is there an official start time to the challenge, or is today ok for me? I know I was over 20 carbs yesterday by a little. Today can be day #1 for a clean induction I hope. My DANDR is still not arrived. Can anyone tell me what the meat limits are, if any? Do you also count calories?
And how well this menu below adds up am not sure. If is not within rules for this challenge, can I start either 3/31 or better, 4/1?
(to wait for the book & get TOM done)
To get me through today I've got:
celery w/cream cheese, ~2-3 Cups + 3.5 oz.
2 ~6 oz swordfish steaks with sauteed sweet pepper-scallion-tomato-cayenne-salt-pepper garnish & lemon juice,
powdered bouillon, vitamin-mineral supplements.
black coffee
water... Scales this am 214 (TOM is at the door)

Did well also. I go to water arobics on Wednesday and found out they might start doing it 5 days a week, I hope they do.
Nasty taste in my mouth, always a good sign
Susan, your menu looks good, Hey start today cause we are very easy on rules, there are none, except to stick to the induction rules for two weeks. Your menu looks a little skimpy in the food department, are you eating at least 3 meals a day?

Ok I am considering Belly Dancing, a friend of mine is in a troupe and wants me to do it also...would this be considered a form of exercise
I don't know though, I don't know if I could bring myself to get into one of those costumes. And I really don't think my hips and shoulders would move like that.
