    Day 3 - did ok today then for some reason had really bad cravings!?! - managed to keep to it though - its been a bit of an odd weekend so perhaps I just need the routine of next week to get back on track

    6 Rashers bacon
    2 Fried Eggs
    2 Fillets of fish in butter
    Roast Beef and greens
    3 mini baby bels
    4 flax crackers - not bad - did them in the micro - at least I can start eating some of the stuff!!

    Am going for the whooshie pie again tomorrow - think I will make smaller ones and freeze them - it should sort out the cravings if they dont go away by themselves. Also saw a recipe for Portable inside out omelet - giving that a go too. Keep looking for exciting recipes that are really easy but many seem a bit complicated or I'm not 100% sure they are for Induction.

      Sorry all, I was gone over the weekend, like most weekends we go up to my bf's and stay there. So I won't be reporting on the weekends. We went over to his mother's to help her move a tv, then today stayed at his house and watched nascar race. I didn't exercise this weekend like I should have and I can tell the difference

      Here are my stats so far
      March 23 - didn't weigh
      March 24 - 174.2 -1.6 Atkins induction day 3 weigh-in
      March 25 - 171.4 -2.8
      March 26 - 168.2 -3.2
      March 27 - 168.2 - 0.0
      March 28 - 167.4 -0.8
      March 29 - 166.8 -0.6
      March 30 - 166.2 -0.6
      March 31 - 165.4 -0.8
      April 1 - 164.2 -1.2
      April 2 - 165.2 +1.0

      Clean inducton from March 22 thru April 1 (cheated with a potato on April 1)
      Clean induction from April 2 thru _______

      That pound is my fault, decided that I could have a baked potato with my steak when his mom took us out for dinner. I did have my salad and a steak and water to drink, but here is proof that 1 thing can screw you all up. I am so mad at myself, I was doing soooo good before that. Hopefully that is all that will come back since it was just 1 potato and I have been clean all day and wont do that again, it was definitaly not worth a whole pound off one litte ity bity potato.

        Hello all!!! I am doing good...went camping overnight polarbear/early spring camp for April Fools..it was fun and I stuck to induction...camping I think would be easier on my normal OWL but I have commited to this so I did it

        Saterday
        breakfast-coffee
        lunch-leftover steak and side salad from BK with only about 1T ceasar dressing hot tea
        dinner-at campsite I made hot dogs for family and fried chicken rolled in crushed BBQ prk rinds, cauliflower side dish made with cheese, sour cream and bacon couple cups hot tea...chilly

        Sunday
        breakfast-fried eggs, 1 leftover hot dog sliced and fried up, and 2 slices bacon
        snack-coffee with splenda and cream colbyjack and celery
        lunch-3 oz pouch on tuna, mayo and mustard and 2 pickle spears
        dinner-burger patty with pepperjack and cauliflower side dish as above but added green onions
        Restarting again 193/174/130

          Hi all. Did very well today. Went to a baby shower and they had sooooo many good things to eat, unfortunately not low carb . I was a good atkid though and stuck with just the meat off of a finger sandwich, had 3 mushrooms that were fried in breading but I just peeled it off and had the mushrooms, some spinach dip and some cubed cheese. The hardest thing I had to give up was the coffee icecream punch. Boo Hoo. Had they had hot decaf coffee there to sip instead would have made it much easier.

          That was my lunch. For Breakfast I had 2 eggs (and you know what today was the first time since starting back that I said yuk when I ate them, hit that can't look at an egg stage I think). Supper was a Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger minus the bun and a side caeser salad.

          Kind of behind on my water today. Still have 2 bottles to get in yet. I will keep a chugging til its gone.

          Did my 50 count ab workout and 30 minutes on stationary bike.

            Missed you all over the weekend - glad to be back at work so can check in. This was a l-o-o-o-n-n-g weekend for me:
            Sat - Day 3 - was tired; slept in. Walked & jogged a little, and hit some tennis balls. Salmon with olive oil, onion, tomato & seasoning, celery & cream cheese, bag of pork skins, and lotsa water.

            Sun - got up 4 er, 5 am (set clocks ahead), and found myself on the brink of disaster watching TV on the couch.
            There sat my son's Pringles, right next to me.

            Thank GOD I had all of you to think about, and how bad it would get after the 1st chip....

            I resisted! Did some yardwork, walked on the Cape St. Claire beach & dug 250 clams. They'll make a few meals tasty! They keep well in cool salty water. Beef & Asparagus, cheddar cheese omelet, celery, H2O and the cravings have gone.

            Now, why the scales say 213 today is a puzzle. Maybe too much salt? Or too much protein? I have trouble with %'s.

            At least have finally got DANDR - the Ebay copy showed up right after I'd gone & got a 50 cent one at a local thrift store Saturday. The store had 5 copies! So I'm reading!!

              Hi all

              back after my bday weekend. kept it low carb, but still had strawberries, extra cream cheese, and not many veggies

              I think I put on 1.5 lbs, but maybe that's not so bad considering what it could have been. I'm hoping that's from too much diet soda, and I'm doubling my water to 4 liters today.

              still struggling with the lettuce. but I'll be good. My pool is closed on mondays, so it's my day off.

              I'm treating myself to a nice hot oil treatment for my hair today, helping it out from the abuse of the swimming.

              oh, and my brother's giving me new goggles tomorrow! yeay!

                  Happy Birthday jemenitayo and Hi to everyone,
                  Day 4 cravings gone today, all fairly settled - tried the new recipes - not bad and very easy

                  2 babybels
                  red pepper with 2 eggs, parsley and 10z feta cheese - excellent and tasty
                  half a whooshie pie - for tea and through till supper

                  tried blouse on which hasnt fitted for ages - can wear it now - just need to lose my second tummy now to be really comfortable - third one seems to have disappeared!!!

                    Had a good day today.

                    Breakfast - 2 Eggs and Bacon, hot tea, 1 s&l, and cream
                    Late Lunch - Tuna Salad over lettuce
                    Dinner - 2 eggs with sf vanilla and 2 ounces cream cheese


                    Have to start keeping with that 6 hour rule, the day seems to fly by without getting the hunger pangs to remind me to eat

                    On my 6th bottle of water.

                    50 Abs done towards my 1500
                    30 minutes on the stationary bike
                    My hubby & I in the Smokies!

                      Good Morning everyone!! Doing Ok here...

                      weight today 147.5 started the induction challenge at 151.5 so I'm going the right way
                      yesterday-breakfast3-4 oz leftover steak,coffee
                      lunch-3 leftover chicken strips rolled in crushed BBq pork rinds and fried,
                      1 stalk celery, spicy mustard and mayo mixed for dip
                      dinner-left over pulled pork with little SF BBQ sauce...made by KC masterpeice called classic blend and sweetened with Splenda...only 2 total carbs per 2 T...not a sugar alcohol item...very good...I know not really on induction list, ate this on thinly sliced cabbage boiled up like noodles with butter,2 cups coffee
                      Restarting again 193/174/130

                        Happy Un-Birthday jemenitayo (may you look a year younger - not that you need to yet)

                        Now I really know why we should stay away from the scales - 208 today... sheesh... up-n-down craziness!

                        Steamed & shucked clams til 3 am, only ate about a dozen. And popping some today, maybe 7 or so so far, and need to eat the cheese sittin' next to them I guess, to make that % fat go up? Not hungry, wish I could go back to the beach today, instead of sittin' at this PC. Plenty of NRG!!

                          Ok did good yesterday and doing good today. Ketones are still down because of the **** potato I just hhhaaaddd to have this last weekend. I learned my lesson the hard way again. Now losing just a little each day, hope it starts to move along a little more quickly soon. It was going so good before that slip up. I have to weigh each morning and each evening to keep me motivated. I know we aren't supposed to but it if I am down I am happy and if I am up then I know I need to change something.

                            hi guys, thanks for all the birthday wishes

                            i've been good, but that little extra weight wont go away.

                            oh well, maybe tomorrow. I drank foooooooooooooooooooooour liters of water yesterday, hoping to take the Bday weight off. no luck.

                            I was good, ate my lettuce and counted carbs. I even went swimming with new Bday goggles today!

                            i hope it'll pay off!

                              Hi everyone, Day 5 - still going well - an early start so I had to plan to keep the food rolling in

                              3 egg omelete in olive oil
                              1/3 Whooshie pie
                              Used green pepper for inside out omelete with hard boiled egg and 1oz feta sprinkled on - original recipe is better!
                              2 lamb chops
                              2 spare ribs
                              tin sardines
                              Mouth feels really horrid - didnt manage all the water today but I will tomorrow.

                                Tuesday was another good day for me.

                                First of all had a l lb. drop so yay for that (makes 3 since we started here)

                                Breakfast- 2 eggs over easy with 3 strips bacon
                                lunch - salad with ranch and bowl of broccoli
                                dinner - toppings off of pizza with side dish of greenbeans

                                On my 5th bottle of water today. One more to go, still have 4 hours to my day before I sleep so think I can manage that.

                                Did my 50 abs for today.
