Wow! You are gonna be in the 160's before I am! I'll race you! I still haven't weighed, but I can tell I'm down some. I'm gonna get into the 160's if it kills me! See you there!

    Sunny!
Darling Sunny, I will see you at the finish line!!

Lashon...your website is awesome. I am impressed. Did you build it yourself? I have been trying to build a website but I get scared away by all of the technical stuff. I have a student with his own website and he has offered to help me build my own.

        Sunny!
Thank you. I appreciate the positive feedback. God is good and His timing is perfect. My friend, Jay, is an ordained Elder and a true man of prayer and integrity. He practices what he preaches. Even if he is not my husband, his friendship is a blessing.

On a different note, I took some Benadryl today which messed up my Cheat free days because it is loaded with sugar . I didn't have anything else and have a runny nose. My question is, what do you all do when you have to take cough medicine? BTW I will be starting a strict induction tomorrow, which means no caffeine. I had been on the on-going induction but was drinking caffeine. So now I am going to do a clean one. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Lisa, hang in there girl. I understand what you are going through with the ups and downs of the emotions. Allow God to heal your heart from the loss. It's ok. It was your father. I commend you for getting right back up and KEEP GOING We fall down BUT WE GET UP! It's going to be ok dear.

Diabetic Tussin or sugar free tussin. These items can be found at Longs Drugs Stores, Rite Aide, Wal Mart, Walgreens. I think you have mentioned Walmart before....that is the best place for sugar free cough syrup because they have a couple of choices and sugar free cough drops!

Girl it is God. I had never built a website before in my life. I used Yahoo Site SOLUTION. I liked it because it was simple to use but at times temporalmental. I pay less than $14 a month for it which includes webhosting. If you want to be able to accept payments you will need to use Yahoo SiteBUILDER which will allow for that. Their customer service can explain the difference. I hope this helps and thanks.

Welcome to the crew Godsbeloved. This is a wonderful group of women.

I've been home (at my parent's house) since Wednesday night and will be here until Sunday. I'm feeling a bit discouraged right now because I know I'm not eating as good as I should. I haven't "cheated" per se, but I'm just not being as conscious as I normally am and to top it off my mom stocked the freezer with low-carb ice cream. I've decided that stuff is my downfall! I can't eat just one helping and then it makes me feel so crappy. I was doing SO good with a steady decline on the scale before coming home on Wed. Now I'm worried it might be going up. Guess I'll find out at my weigh-in on Monday. Okay, I'm done venting now! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Don't be down on yourself Liz. It might not be as bad as you might think. I gave in and succumbed to my chocolate craving and got some Low Carb candy. I ate my alloted serving and put the rest up. It might stall me but it's better than eating a huge piece of chocolate cake. I have to make this doable since I plan on doing for life. This includes finding legal alternatives when I have these cravings that won't give.

But this morning i got up and said today is a new day and had my homemade sausage lol, i tell you its not sausage you buy in the store thats for sure, its missing something just have not figured out what, but at least its got no fillers in it.
Well i took my daughter yesterday and all these rashes popping up on her is ringworm, so i have a cream to put on her, need to get it under control that crap spreads like wildfires lol.

Liz- you have been doing so good, im sure you will still have a great result on monday but you just need to step away from the ice cream lol, its vicious.

Lashon- how exciting for you to be able to meet someone online that you connect with. I will be checking out your website.

Cat- im so sorry you and your little one have strep, I have had it one time in my life, and i feel for anyone who gets it. Make sure you two get lots of rest.

As far as other things to do with beef, im waiting for some ideas myself, that is a big problem with me is i get tired of the same thing.

To all the other ladies i know im missing a few of you here, keep up the great work.

Ok ladies, im done rambling here, i got to get my house clean today, and my mil is coming over to spend the night so i will probally not be on much today, but i hope you all have a great weekend!!!
Oh Lisa, depression sucks!! I know. I will send up some prayers for you now my friend.

I wanted you to check this out for your daughter. It's all natural:

                  Paranil Jr.

I've used this the last two years (the adult portion) on me and the Paranail Jr. for Tashiana. It works.

Hi My Derby Sisters, because we are family I must share this with you. I have a gentleman that I met over a year ago on a Christian Dating site and our relationship has developed into a very good FRIENDSHIP. He lives in North Carolina and I call him Jay (nickname). We have never met in person eventhough we have tried several times and something always comes up to prevent it. Well now we are scheduled to meet in March over the Easter weekend if the Lord is willing. We are not dating just very good friends. However there is an attraction there obviously because we met on a dating site. Yes I am nervous and I don't think I need to tell you all that I want to be sho-nuff "SOOKIE-SOOKIE" (aka HOT ) when I see him. So with that said I will be doing what I can to lose as much as I can before we meet. I have a new black sequenced suit that I would like to wear Easter and right now I can't fit the jacket but I want to be in it by Easter. So yall pray for a sistah ok and I will keep you updated and thanks.

I also want to share my website with you all. It will tell you a little more about me and what I am working on. www.mihi333.com

Well alright! Just know that if he is the one God has fashioned for you, it won't matter if you walk in there with a brown paper bag on your head. He will think you're awesome - as all of us DGs do. However, I know how it feels to feel when you look good....sitting on top of the world...but look good for yourself girl....not a man.

BTW, I love your website. I suffered from low-self esteem and probably still do in some ways. It stems from being sexually abused as a child. I think you're offering a valuable resource to a lot of hurting people.

So, is Katrissa your first name? It's almost a blend of Catrenia and Kassoria. LOL!! My middle name is Nichole.

Thank you all for your well-wishes and prayers. I had to take my baby back to the doc this morning...suspected they gave her the wrong dose of antibiotics (too low). They did. She'll be starting the correct dose this evening. Ugh!!! Her fever is still up and down but I'm on the natural, alternative course right now....just gave her some Cold Care natural tea with linden flower, elderberry, chamomile, and peppermint. I don't like loading her up with Advil and Tylenol. She was feeling better within 30 minutes after 3 days of pain meds. Yep, I've got to get my butt in gear and get this naturopathy degree.

Thank you Cat. NO WAY, I am not losing weight for a MAN. I have been there, done that before with my ex-husband and it was horrible. I am losing this weight for me, my health, to be an excellent example for my daughter and to be able to function better in the ministry God has given me. Even if I am still 227 when I meet him, I am gonna look good and represent well....smile.

Yes I know about the low self-worth and low self-esteem issue oh to well, and like yourself, I have to stay watchful because it will try to come back. My mother and grandmother both died at a VERY young age because they took care of everyone else except themselves, mainly their husbands and when they became sick and passed away, them jokers continued to do what they were doing before they died, which was fulfill their own selfish desires. I was following in those same footsteps until God broke the cycle.

Yes, Katrissa (Ka-tree-sa) is my first name. Lashon is my middle.

Cat, you may be interested in this site. I think it may have some helpful information on your natural approach. www.hallelujahacres.com
My mentor and friend, is actually getting her certification in this nutritional approach now. She invited me to do a 21 day trial with her. Honey I told her, it is going to sho-nuff take the anointing of God....smile. I believe the eating approach is wonderful though and healthy. She has gone from like a size 12 to an 8 in just two months eating like this and working out hard.
