Ok update, i do have a tree laying on top of my house, thank God it was the garage it fell on, and the part that is caving in is on the side of the garage. The guy down the street came here to get my daughter with his girls because it was raining to take to school and thats when i found out. I knew of the tree limb in the yard, i thank god it was the garage and not the structure of the house, even though the garage is attached to the house, it sits to the side, and thank god it was not the other side of the house where my bedroom is, and now i have confirmed i will probally never let my kids sleep in there room, which they never do now, something my hubby keeps saying they need to start, but i like having them right here with me in case of things like this, there room is upstairs and mine is downstairs so that is the only thing i dont like about this house. ok just wanted to post real quick, we are renting this house so the landlord is getting in touch with his insurance company, which im glad we dont own it, we dont have the extra money to get a tree of our house, and we have a very nice landlord so he is going to get them out here to see about the damage. Ok you all have a great day, im going to try and have one. Talk to you all later.

Ok i wanted to share some pics with you all about my house, come to find out it is sitting on powerlines scary, i called the power company and they are coming out but i still have power.
You can see in the pics that the garage is attached to the house which is a good thing, because it didnt mess with the structure of our house.

That looks so scary! We had those strong winds about 3 weeks ago (75 mph). I was terrified but didn't cry so Tashiana wouldn't see me (but I wanted to). Like you, it woke me up. The Tornado siren for my town was going off and then about 5 minutes after I woke up the electric went out. I just kept praying and praying. I have never been that scared in my life.

Thank you Sunny, ok i might pm you but im going to first ask you here, maybe it wont get lost lol. Mayo, have you ever made your own, i saw in the yeast connection about homemade mayo, using refined vegetable oil, i have no idea what that means either, but was wondering if it would taste good at all. Also any other ideas to make things taste better im all ears lol. Im going shopping today to get a few things to help me along the way here. I also want to know if the garlic pills i bought will help fight the fungus, now i can eat raw onions all day long but not raw garlic, so i got them in a pill form. IM just lost as to what to make things taste good.

I also suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and i will obsess some days over eating and i have a hard time with it. I also suffer from low self esteem, and i have been in abusive relationships in my life, im not now, in fact i think being in them before now is what made me stand up for myself in that instance but i have always turned to food for comfort and that is one bad habit to change. The one thing i hate to hear well if your tired of it you will change it, thats almost like telling me i like to be fat and that is so very untrue, i cry a lot when im buy myself, i have even cried after pulling into a fast food restaurant to order some food that i know i shouldnt eat but i have obsessed over it for 6hrs before hand. Im just saying all of that to say that i know its frustrating to the ones that have succeeded on any plan and want to share what they know to someone else that needs that help, but never give up on them. I do feel overeating is a disorder, just like anorexia and bullimia and it can be like a drug to some, i know for me i always say it has been my drug of choice and im ready to overcome it but its not been a easy journey thats for sure.
Food is an addiction, just like drugs and alcohol or even tobacco. The only difference is that you need not ever drink, smoke or take drugs again, but you have to eat.

As to the "if you are tired enough of it you will change it"--the words we need the most to hear are usually the ones we don't want to hear at all--because deep inside we know it is true. The truth hurts. You may not like being fat, but your subconscious knows you can hide behind it. I have hid behind fat for almost 15 years.

I think most of us on this thread have experienced at least some of what you are experiencing. We've all had valid reasons/"excuses" for not doing what we need to do, but they are just that--excuses. I even had several doctors, specialists, that validated my excuses for my weight and lack of exercise. I have proved to them that I can overcome the valid medical reasons and I have succeeded.

Each of us reached the "Blammo Moment" at different times in our life and in different ways, but I bet each and every one of us remembers that moment when we knew for certain that we could no longer keep doing to ourselves what we had been doing for so many years. Maybe you haven't reached that point yet, but I bet it is close.

                        Sunny!

Wow! God certainly was looking out for you and your family! I like most stormy weather, except for wind. I really love thunder and lightening, but when the wind gets up, I feel chilled even in the summer. I can't sleep when the wind is howling! I'm so glad you're okay.

I have never made mayo. I checked out recipes, but I never wanted mayo bad enough to go to that much trouble. I love to cook, but not that much! I hate having to wash my blender. When you buy mayo, do you buy sugar free Duke's? Duke's is the only brand that doesn't have sugar. I thought Kraft was the only mayo I could eat until I found out it had sugar, so I switched and now I like it.

Have you tried mixing garlic with foods that you really like to eat??? I love garlic, so I don't have a problem adding a lot to foods. I recently started making black olive tapenade, which has a lot of garlic. It has capers, which you can't have, but you can have the rest--it's healthy and high fat. That's what I had a problem with--keeping my fat up while not being able to eat mayo.

Here's the recipe, but you would have to leave out the capers (brined in vinegar) and pepper, and you would have to use regular black olives, because the Calamata olives are in vinegar. This is really good on a lot of foods, like scrambled eggs and mixed with cream cheese (after you can have it again) as a spread or dip.

                              Black Olive Tapenade

If using a food processor, be careful not to over process – the Tapenade should retain some texture from the olives and capers. Experiment with different varieties of olives.
                              • 3/4 cup Calamata olives, pitted
                              • 1-1/2 tablespoons capers, drained
                              • 1 garlic clove, finely minced
                              • 1/8 cup minced fresh parsley leaves (or scant 1 Tbsp. dried)
                              • 1/4 teaspoon salt (only add if needed after final tasting)
                              • 2 - 3 grinds of black pepper
                              • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
                              Directions:
                              • Combine all ingredients except oil and salt in a food processor.
                              • Slowly add the oil and pulse, retaining some bits of olive and caper for texture.
                              • Taste to adjust the seasonings if necessary.
Stored tightly covered in the refrigerator, this will keep well for a week or two. I only have a mini-food processor, but for those of you with standard
