      Hi all,

I am swamped with work and classes. I will not be so swamped after Friday. Hope you all are doing well and on track. Talk to ya later.

        Good afternoon everyone!

Lisa, stay strong. We're here for you and I'm praying things resolve favorably for you.

Ok, Lashon....where ya at? Did you get sucked up by the Mocha Choco-latte?

Hi Sunny, Sherri, Glenda, Kass, Marty and Catherine! We've lost some crew along the way! I'm so tired I can't even pull out the big guns to look for anyone (don't think I won't come looking later).

*Catherine, I hope you're okay. I know losing your dog probably broke your heart. We're here for you,

Who's up for a daily roll call? This will help us know which members of KD are actively participating in this thread. Lisa, I understand your situation (you'll always be a DERBY GIRL). You have 24 hours each day to check in. If you can't post for some reason (trip) then just tell us DGs and we'll excuse ya for that time period. LOL!! No, seriously. I just don't know who is still actively participating in this thread and trying to send a shout-out to everyone (especially when you've been MIA for quite a while even when we've threatened you - in a friendly way) is hard (for me anyways due to my memory). I still love ya'll though.

I'm here Cat. No the Choco-latte didn't suck me in.... but ALMOST GIRL WHEW!!! LOL......

Regarding roll call, I can't committ to checking in everyday. It depends on what I have going on that day. I am unable to access this board from work so I have to wait until I get home and if I get home too late or have alot going on I may not leave a message. Sometimes I have just enough time to log on, update my challenges and get off. So for that reason, I can't committ to everyday but I will check in often. I love this thread. Girl I don't even journal everyday. I don't have time to.

Why is he not paying the hotel cost, plus eating expenses? I am not up on Georgia landlord/tenant law, but most states require that the landlord pay all expenses for your having to move out due to no fault of your own. He then turns that in to his insurance and recovers his loss. The house is not habitable due to no fault on your part and your living expenses for eating out due to the house not being livable is probably costing you a fortune. You would then only have to pay March rent, like always. If the rent is the same as the hotel bill, it would be a wash, but I doubt that it is.

I up for it. It only takes a few seconds to say, "I'm here." I'm the same as you about the ones that are regular for a long time, then just disappear. If you are going AWOL, for any reason, just say so. All of us are busy and have a lot on our plate, so it is hard to go back through all the posts to look for the MIA's. I did everything I could to get Sweets back, and she responded and promised to come back, but never did. Nobody has to write a big post every day, but at least check in as often as possible so we know you are still with us. I love you all, too, and don't want to lose any of my new sisters.

I forgot why I checked in a while ago. It was finally able to walk outside today for the first time. I walked for 30 minutes, but I am so weak from not doing anything for nearly a month, my heart rate was up after a few minutes walking slowly. It was only 53 degrees, but for once the wind was not blowing like a banshee, so it was nice. It also felt really good to be outside for a while. It's supposed to snow on Saturday.

I've just finished my third full day of the yeast-free diet and my tummy has settled down quite a bit. I am making a lot better stuff this time, so it's not quite as bad. I made yeast-free legal guacamole with fresh hot peppers and tomatoes, instead of doing it the lazy way of adding Pace's salsa. I am baking a small turkey for the weekend. Grilled steak tomorrow.

                        Night all!

Sounds good. I will check in as often as I can, I understand about people MIA, so if they do all of a sudden disappear and don't check in this thread for days but do log on to the board, then they shouldn't get OFFENED when no one reaches out to them to see how they are doing. This thread is a great thread that provides alot of love and support and is not intended, I am sure, to make people feel pressured or obligated to check-in or to run people down. We are all adults and again if folk choose not to check-in for days and days, then PLEASE don't feel overlooked when you are not addressed.

I will be headed to bed soon. Brittany and I both are still not feeling well. I just got back from picking up medicine and we both need to go see the doctors tomorrow. BTW, thanks Cat or Kass (can't remember which one) for letting me know about the sugar-free cough medicine, I bought some tonight. Love all you ladies and thanks for the support....
