Good morning, Derby girls! This is my 4th day of the yeast-free diet and I am over most of the yucky feelings associated with yeast-die-off. I feel pretty good today. I've got some pretty good food lined up for the weekend, so it doesn't seem quite as restrictive. I've had to get really creative, but it is worth it.

It is raining today, with snow expected tomorrow, so no walks outside. I am planning to dial down the tension on my recumbent stepper, and start back with 5 to 10 minutes on it today and tomorrow. I am looking forward to being able to exercise again and keep going this time.

Hope you all have a great day!

    Sunny!

Good morning my beautiful DG sisters!! I'm at home because I'm PMSng and, for the safety of those around me, I chose to stay home.

Oh, BBL, the teacher just called. School is letting out early.

You are a good person, Cat. Always taking the safety of those around you as more important than your need to choke the snot out of someone that desperately and truly needs it! As my daughter used to say, "I have PMS and I have a gun!!!"
Good thing you are not at work if school is letting out early. Now you and the little Princess can have some mommy daughter time.

Good Morning Derby Girls, at the library again lol, im so sick of that room so i have to escape.

Sunny-actually he is taking it out of march's rent, we pay 900 a month, so its almost ate it up so not sure what will happen then, and your right it has been expensive food wise. Im not even sure what is going on with the house. It was a pretty week and they have not even started on it, the landlords wife keeps me informed and its all about numbers right now with the contractor and insurance, im so glad i dont have to deal with them, i would be having coniptions with them right about now, i guess because i dont understand what is taking so long. The one thing im getting really down about all of this, i have 3 dogs that are not use to being outside all of this time, even though i go home and check on them daily and feed them, its not the same, there like family and i cant bring them to our room, and i sure cant afford a kennel. We have a big backyard so they have plenty of room to run around but i have to say i love my dogs and they come in every night to sleep, and when it rains they are in the house, this just seems cruel to me to them. Then on top of all of that, my kids need there space as well as me, im about to go crazy. I know im whining but its been almost two weeks since the tree hit, i would have never thought of it taking this long. I have even told my hubby i might just have to figure out a way to go back on plan because im not going to get any smaller by living in a hotel room.

Ok im done whining. I think checking in is a good thing, i will come to the library again on monday so i will be missing in action over the weekend unless i go to a friends house that has a computer.

I hope all of you have a great weekend!!! It is raining here today and is suppose to get cold again, whew i tell you i thought we were done with cold cold weather, it has felt like spring for the last week, but it is suppose to get down to the 30's for tomorrow and very windy. Ok well i will talk to you all later!!!

This is exactly where you need to come to whine. We understand. You can whine to us and don't let it bleed over on your family. I would be out of my mind after that long in a one-room hotel room and four people--no matter how much I love those people. I hope you can get out and go visit someone over the weekend. Just getting out from under the close quarters will make you feel better. I'm sorry about your furbabies. I hope they get busy real soon with repairs and you can get back home with them and your family.

              Keep strong!

Girl, I'm so sorry. Why does sickness have the double whammy when you're a mom? When Tashiana and I had the strep together I had to keep going....didn't have time for me to be sick because I was concentrating on her feeling better. It's just the worst feeling...to have your baby sick. I pray you both feel better soon. Get plenty of rest and liquid so your body can attack and kill those nasty invaders.

I'm having an omelet in the morning with roasted asparagus, topped with fresh homemade Hollandaise sauce (egg yolks, fresh lemon juice and butter). I am having a grilled sirloin and salad for lunch and I am baking a small, 13 pound turkey for the rest of the weekend. I am having roasted veggies with the turkey.

I think my avocadoes will be ripe enough by Saturday to make homemade guacamole that is yeast-free legal. Then Sunday, I will have my fried egg/turkey breast/guacamole breakfast! Yum!

I am staying on it for 14 days again, but this time I am drinking chamomile tea, so it's not as bad. I never did get the GSE and I wanted to jump on this as soon as I got a few symptoms. I'm still going to order some and use it. I'm pretty sure I would have dodged the bullet if not for eating a whole bottle of blue cheese dressing in a week, then blue cheese burgers. I was fine until the day after the burgers and a salad with the last of the blue cheese dressing. I was taste-testing a lot of crackers made with nut flours at the same time. When will I ever learn??? The yeast-free diet is very character-building.

                              Sunny!

You are so right about it Cat. I can't afford to be sick and I hate when my baby is sick. I am about to go pickup our Rx, some gaterade, juice, soup and get back home. See this is when it really bothers me that I don't have anyone I can say go get this for me or stay with her until I come back so I don't have to take her out in the rain/cool air. Oh well, my God ordained husband is on the way. I have to keep holding on to that. You ladies have a good evening and I will check back in tomorrow if I am feeling up to it. Thanks for your prayers.
