Oh! I just went onto victoriassecret.com and ordered a bikini and a tube top!!! SO EXCITED! JUST ORDERING IT MADE ME WANT TO EAT RIGHT! I know it sounds ridiculous to squash my eating problems with retail therapy but I feel like it helped!

Thanks for letting me join here!

    That's so generous of you!

Welcome!! We're here to listen about anything that you want to discuss. We're family. Talking with these gals is my therapy. Being the emotional eater....it's easier to come here and talk than eat my way through my emotions. We're happy to have you with us.

Welcome Katie. You will like it here. We all know how it feels to struggle with this WOE at times, but as you can tell many have been successful and so will you and I. As a matter of fact today was day 1 of my re-start. Yes it's embarrassing at times but hey it's life and re-starting is better than giving up. So bless you for not giving up.

Hey my Derby Sisters. I hope everyone is doing good.

Well I completed my first day of re-induction and it is amazing how I could feel my body starting to crave carbs. One thing I did notice when I was off my eating plan is I felt sluggish and I could literally tell when my sugar level crashed. I began to get gittery and want to eat and I had just eaten earlier. It really is amazing how those bad carbs and sugar effect our bodies. Today I felt a little weak but I know it will pass after a few days and I will have my energy back. I am glad my daughter wasn't home today and I was off from work so I could just rest. I did not exercise today and probably will not for a few days until I get pass the initial withdrawals again. I didn't drink a full 64 oz of water today but I did drink some. I will focus more tomorrow on getting my water in. My goodnes I do feel like I have started all over again and I have. Boy it just wasn't worth it.

I am adding you, Jim, Tashiana and Sandra to my prayer list, too. I hope this is the relationship that God has planned for you. You pray about it a lot and I will, too. If you haven't dated in quite a while, prepare for Tashiana to be a little jealous.

As for where I've been--busy trying to catch up from following doctor's orders about doing nothing for over a month. I am so far behind and so weak. Everything wears me out. I am pacing myself, but where do the hours in the day go??? If I allow myself to get on the computer, I get caught up in it and have a hard time getting back to work or exercise. Now that I don't have doctor's appointments until April and the extra services at church are over, I will have more time.

We are having a special healing service next Sunday, but I don't think I am going to sing in the choir. I want to be a part of the audience for a change.
Thanks for sharing your words of wisdom Sunny. I just love your sweet spirit. I hope the healing service is a blessing and you get your healing as well as others. I am believing God for a miraculous healing in my body too and it will manifest in His timing. He is Jehovah Rophe!

Cat - Yes it is exciting to have a honey in your life. I agree with Sunny, I too hope this is the relationship God has for you. Take it slow. Watch and pray. Girl you know I understand how it is being single and wanting that companionship. My friend was only here visiting for three days and I miss having him here already. We just had so much fun and it was so refreshing to be in the company of a godly man.

Glenda, Marty, Catherine, Lisa, Liz, Kass, Sherri - Hey yall wonderful ladies. How are you doing? Here is some love for you from Sunny FL Lisa, I am happy you and your family are back at home.

                Hi Ladies,

Welcome Katie......you are in the right place for support.

A quick check in...I am exhausted. My last night of class is Wednesday and I have to present a lesson so I am busy completing my final assignments.

I am on track. I bought some new shirts and a mini skirt to wear to vegas. The skirt is tight and the shirts are tight across my chest...so I have no choice but to loose at least 15lbs before my trip in June. We are going to Circus Circus in Reno this weekend with another family so I will have to muster up will power to fight off the food demonds. In all honesty, I might have a drink.

                Later ladies

Good morning Derby Girls! It's good to see so many smiling faces on so many posts! It was 23 degrees this morning, but has warmed up to a toasty 35 degrees already.

Kass--I think you are smart enough! We miss you! I will be glad when school is over for you so you can come visit more often.

Looks like we are going to have to go round up some missing sisters! I will be getting the posse ready shortly, so prepare to cowgirl up!

Only one week from today to the end of our personal exercise challenge! How is everyone doing?

                  Sunny!

When I am sick I can tolerate boiled chicken with lots of broth. Mild veggies like green beans or stewed summer squash go down easy, too. When your tummy is upset, solid food is not real important, but fluids are. The reason you tend to throw up food is because your stomach is not up to digesting it, so it gets rid of it the best way it can. You lose a lot of electrolytes when you throw up. Hope you feel better soon!

Sunny, I am so ready to go round up the missing gals!! I wonder where they might be.

Katie, I am sorry that you have the flu. I pray you feel better soon.

Kass, girl you are so dedicated about school. I so need to get my behind in gear on this. I know that I want to do it so I need to find my motivation.

Sunny, I think our weather is about the same. Maybe if we pray hard enough the cold will leave. Oh, I've been reading some interesting articles on the Vitamin D deficiency. Seems this can cause Chronic Fatigue and mimics the symptoms of Fibromyalgia (which the stupid Endocrinologist had told me to get worked up for). Now, maybe the aches and pains will go finally go away. I'm so psyched.

Lashon, not to worry my girl. I am taking it slow. Fear helps me not to run at a face past. LOL!! Congrats on getting back on plan. I'm sending up a prayer that the withdrawals are not too bad.

Sherri, Marty, Glenda and Catherine hello!!!

P.S. Here's a pic of Jim and his daughter Sandra.

Oh Sunny, I just love you. Tashiana is happy at the idea this might become her sister but still says she wants a baby. Luckily, he wants more kids as well. Let me rephrase that: another child as well. I'm too old to be trying to have that many kids. They'll try to take over. I'm so scared!!!!!!! This is why I have not dated but every time I talk to him or look at his pic my heart skips a beat. Yeah, I know. I'm a big cornball.
