Hola amigas! Sorry that I was a stranger yesterday. TOM finally showed up this morning after a few days of emotional torture. With this Endometriosis and fibroid tumor TOM is irregular. I only know he's coming because I'm either wanting to cry or to hurt someone. LOL!! It's snowing and windy (23 to 40 mph). Yesterday was ice rain. I didn't go anywhere. My sidewalks were slick.

Well, I hope you all have an awesome day. I have those lovely cramps and a headache so I'm headed back to bed. Later.

As my daughter used to say, "I have PMS and I have a gun!" She would want to hurt them first and then cry for them afterwards! Kinda like then aaawwwww did that hurt? She had terrible periods and horrible PMS. She flooded so bad, she had to carry a big towel everywhere she went to sit on. No amount of protection lasted very long. I had to call an ambulance more than once, because she was hemorrhaging so much. She was so embarrassed, because I worked with some of the EMT volunteers and she had to face them at later times.

Kass: I didn't have a hot date last night--it would have been much better than where I was--either in the bathroom or in bed. I was supposed to go to my family Christmas dinner last night, right after I went to the 3-hour dress rehearsal for the Christmas musical today at church. I cooked most everything on Friday, but had to do some more yesterday. I had to go to Kroger's in the middle of the day to get a few things and I started having very bad stomach cramps. By the time I got home, I had diarrhea and was throwing up. I had been feeling bad for a few days, but just thought it was because I am so over-doing it for the horrible disorder from which I suffer (RSD). I ended up going to bed between bathroom visits and didn't go to rehearsal or to the dinner. I had chills and that started up the tremors and spasms I get with the RSD. All in all, it was a pretty horrible night.

I didn't go to church at all, after attending all those practices. I am better today, but very weak and shaky. Our storm didn't turn out to amount to much--just a bunch of freezing rain and high winds, but I hope that they postponed the musical at church. I so want to be a part of it. The ice-coated trees were beautiful this morning.

I'm going back to bed for a while.

      Sunny!

Kass, your cheesecake is making me hungry....looks delish!!

Sweets, don't beat yourself up. Dust yourself off and start again. I read in another thread to just drink a lot of water to wash it out of your system.

Sunny, I'm sorry that you were feeling bad. I hope you feel better today. Surely they postponed the events with the bad weather and that way you can still participate.

        Hey Sherri and Marty!!

I will talk to everyone in the AM. I'm so tired and dreading work tomorrow.

          Good Morning Everyone!!!

Hot DATE??? Who has the time for that? Operation "In-Laws" is coming to a close. My son and I have been giftwrapping for the Scouts this weekend while rearranging our house to make it a hotel.

Kass: That cheesecake looks soooo good. I am going to try that. I'm sorry to hear the movie was "okay", it looked cute. Glad your son enjoyed it though.

Sweet: How are you doing?? Still on your horse? You can overcome the bread...

Cat: I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling good. I understand the TOM!! I have a hard time every month. There are words for "men" like him!!! and none of them are nice.

Sunny: I hate to hear that you're sick. I sure hope that they reschedule, I know that you were really looking forward to singing in the program. I was shopping this weekend and everytime I saw "CARS" I thought about ya.

          Hey Sherri!!!!!

Hope you guys have a good day today.. While you are goofing off... I get to go home and sleep for a bit. I HATE the nightshift...

What's up everyone? I'm sitting at work about to nod off. I've been getting to bed late because I've been getting home late which pushes everything back (time-wise). I was going to be staying late tonight but I'm not. They'll get over it. If something is not done, it just won't be done. I'm the reliable one in this unit. While everyone else (including my supervisor) is out goofing off then I'm left in here to hold the fort down. Well, it's about time they got left behind. I'm putting ME first for once.

Believe me, they'll thank me (my sanity thanks me).

I think it's quite possible that I will live! I'm finally feeling a bit better. Had to take my presents to church this morning, since I didn't make it on Saturday or Sunday. Not only did I miss the musical, I missed the children's program last night. I so wanted to see that! I was soooo sick last night and in so much pain.

At least I got to see the families pick up the gifts and boxes of food. I got to see the mom from my family. That Disney "car" about drove me crazy all the way over there! It was in the back seat and every time I slowed down or made a turn, it started up talking and varooming! When I carried it into the church, the lady in charge looked real funny and said "that one is talking! When the mom was helping carry stuff out, she had the bag in her hand and she kept looking at it like it might bite her! My family had the biggest pile of presents! I sneaked a peek at the family card and got their address--I rode by their house and saw that it was decorated very nicely for Christmas and there were nice toys in the back yard. I know that we made a lot of families celebrate Christmas a little easier this year!

I better lose some weight this week! I have berely been able to eat anything. Soft scrambled eggs are about all I can manage.

                Sunny!

Hi everyone! I'm still here. Just very busy. Kass- I loved my jello mold on Thanksgiving that I made. I made it with raspberry jello. The whole family liked it. I'm going to make the lemon one for Christmas. Looks Great! Cat- Looks like more storms headed your way. We have a series of storms here this week and they're all bringing snow. Sunny-Sorry to hear you were hit with a bug. Sounded like a touch of the flu. I know how much you looked forward to the musical, sorry you missed it as well as the childrens program. That is so funny about that darn car. I love how you got to see the receiving family of your gifts. Very cool! You got to see it full circle. Well except for Christmas morning. I bet that car is going to be a hit. Do you think they'll take the batteries out Christmas Eve before they set it down under the tree? It might wake someone. Hehe. I'll just bet that the scales are going to be nice to you after just eating the egg scrams. I'm just glad you're feeling much better Marty-I remember the night shift. I didn't care to much for it either. Unless I was bouncing bars, but that's another story. LOL You're going to be a busy gal this week getting caught up with shopping and wrapping. Sounds like you've had lots of practice wrapping presents with the scouts. You'll whip yours out in no time. Great job with you weightloss! Sweets-Next time you have a craving for bread make a minute muffin with flax meal or flax pancakes. They're even induction friendly. Wheat is one thing. Did you read the nutritional lable on the bread? How much sugar was in that slice of bread? That's the top thing I look for, is sugar. Get in the habit of reading all food lables on all food that your going to eat. It may detour you from eating it next time you get an urge to eat off plan. Sugar is poison to our body! ANY AMOUNT! Happy to see you recovered from eating the bread. It takes time to re-program our mind set on how we view foods. We're breaking old habbits and making new ones. We are only human. Humans are creatures of habit. I'm very proud of you, you're doing great. You're here and your holding yourself accountable. Just like the rest of us. I'm a busy girl this week. Making Christmas gifts and having to go down the mountain into the city one more time before the holiday. I'm picking up our Christmas ham and a few more presents. I'm baking and cooking in the kitchen this week and this weekend will be delivering all these goodies as gifts to friends and family. The sooner it is all out of the house the better for everyone in the family. I'll be making the chocolate walnut ball cookies for us along with zuchinni bread. Also a blackberry pie made with an almond crust. I havn't ate off plan and don't plan on it. This will be my fourth Christmas on plan! I'm pretty proud of myself for that. Go safe everyone! I'm so happy that you're my friends!

Sherri, how'd you like the jello mold. I made it with strawberry and cherry..but it just didn't taste the same as making it with lemon. It truly tastes like Cheesecake.

I used 1 full bar and 2oz of cream cheese + a table spoon of splenda. Heat creamcheese until it is very soft.
1 large box of lemon jello
used 2 cups of boiling water stir in jello, then stir in 1 cup cold water. I let it cool off.
Mix in cream cheese, you need a mixer at low speed for only about 10 seconds. Pour in dish and put in refrigerator.
I might have to give this a whirl. I've always thought cheesecake was disgusting, but then I never liked cream cheese until now. Now I eat it on everything and lick it off the knife! I had to make myself eat pork rinds at first, now I have to hide them in the big freezer so I don't wipe out the bag. I know I like a lot of stuff that I never used to, so I might give this a try. I really like lemon.

I made snickerdoodles tonight with almond flour. They turned out really nice. I don't think anyone would be able to tell that they are low carb. I so like Linda's low carb site. I've gotten a bunch of good ideas from there.

Cat--do you ever make the tuna muffins anymore?? I made a new batch a few days ago, but only ate two of them, then put the rest in the freezer for later.

I had a couple of cups of chamomile tea a while ago, and my tummy is not hurting much at all.

                    Sunny!

Glad to see you again Sherri. It sounds like everyone is doing good. I got through my Boy Scout Christmas Party last night. We had my DH Cub Scouts at the party as well. What a lot of kids. We got together to wrap the gifts we purchased for our sponsored families. We had a reporter from the local newspaper doing an article on us. Pretty cool. My in-laws arrive tonight so I've got to get a couple more "cleaning" projects completed before hand. I've got to get some packages wrapped and mailed today and maybe get a couple hours of sleep int the middle...

Cat, Marty, Sweets.....What's for XMAS dinner. I am making the jello mold to take to my mom's. There will be so much food, I am praying that I stay legal.

At home I'll probably cook a roast in the slow cooker and some veggies, Faux potatoes and some low carb desserts.

Hey all!! I'm so excited. Today is my last day of work until January 2nd. I need out of here in a bad kind of way!

I'm not fixing anything special for Christmas. I'll be at home. I'm trying now not to associate food with celebration. I'm going to try to focus on doing other things (besides eating) when holidays, reunions, etc. come up. It will be easy for me though. I'll be at my own house at Christmas. Since my grandparents died holidays just are not the same (as far as getting together with other family members - they are such trouble makers). I focus now on Tashiana. She's my heart and I love watching her at Christmas. It's delightful. She doesn't know what to play with first. LOL!!

Well, I'm going to get to work. I get to leave at 2:00 today. Yay!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day.

*I've started posting my daily menu in my Journal Stats. I'm trying to focus more on veggies (try to up my carb intake level). I'm also hoping to start Pilates or something on this break. Everyone say a prayer for me. I'm one of those people who if I can't do what I want, do nothing (want to do Turbo Jam...don't want to ride the bicycle). I'm also that way with eating (which is bad). If I want something other than Atkins food....I won't cheat but I won't eat either. It's not a good thing.
