I have been so busy it wasn't funny. We are 80%done with the 3rd room, the livingroom. Sunny: You have more ump than I do to try to cook in that mess. My kitchen is still not in order. It's now the paint central for the Living room. My gosh, will the painting ever end.
So yes, I did cheat. Not too bad though. Saturday was my "baby's" 16th birthday so out to eat and I did eat a small piece of bday cake.
Hehe! I didn't trail off far. Just trying to get organized with budgeting and paying bills. Looks like we'll be alright for the rest of the year and with the holidays. My DH and I are headed to town tomorrow. Get some more x-mas shopping done. I've got to get stocked up on fresh veggies and dairy too. Sunny, I too believe that christmas is for children. The last two holidays I asked family to donate the cost of my gifts to those that need it. So now, each year, we donate to the Boys and Girls Town. It just makes sense to us. My DH wad abandoned at age 6 in a large city (long story), He never new his parents or any family as far as that goes. I have given him the best gift of all, Sierra. Our DD is the only blood relative he knows. Can you imagine? So we pay it forward by helping other children in need each year. Sierra is our angel girl. We totally spoil her! She's our true gift!
