Wow! Kass--those Disney cars are cute! I'm gonna have to buy a couple of those. I've already got Hotwheels and Matchbox cars on their 'stocking' list. Thanks for the help! I guess I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and actually walk into a toy department in a store soon. I am so shopping phobic, it's not funny. I own a TV, but I only turn it on every few months, except for playing exercise videos. I can't remember the last time I turned it on for TV, but it's been months.

Cat: I am so glad that you are finally feeling better! Praise God, indeed! I can almost see the tiara on Tashiana's head!

Okay, Sherri and Marty--where are you??? Don't make me come over there!

I'm glad to see both Kass & Cat are in the lovehandles challenge. I will post my pictures soon and join. Can't decide what to wear for the pics. I was in the Muffin Butt challenge. I gotta get busy again! I've goofed off enough!

      Sunny!

Please don't send the posse after me !!!! I have been so busy it wasn't funny. We are 80%done with the 3rd room, the livingroom. Sunny: You have more ump than I do to try to cook in that mess. My kitchen is still not in order. It's now the paint central for the Living room. My gosh, will the painting ever end.

I am soo jealous of you ladies. You really stuck to your guns..... me... not so good. We went to my Daughters house for Turkey Dinner. Although it was good.. it was not Atkins friendly So yes, I did cheat. Not too bad though. Saturday was my "baby's" 16th birthday so out to eat and I did eat a small piece of bday cake.
Normally, I would have put up my decorations this past weekend.. but they didn't make it. Not thinking to highly of next weekend with the snow coming. We'll see. I love to decorate for Christmas. I put as much stuff as my curcuit breakers will let me. hee hee

        Until later... ta ta

What if the posse consists of 12 Chippendale dancers, dressed to entice you to follow them back to ADBB and this thread???? HaHaHa! Like that's gonna happen!

The important thing is you are back and ready to rock 'n' roll. You have plenty of time to finish the house and have a good plan in place for Christmas.

I hate to paint. I'd rather eat a plate of live worms than paint!

Chippendales huh?? Might be worth going AWOL for a bit to see. I enjoy painting. It's instant gratification. From worn and dirty to clean sharp walls. We added a chair rail in the kitch this time. Maybe if I paint for you... You'll cook for me??? Everybodies receipes sound and looks so good... just never seem to have time to cook.

Chippendale dancers are just finishing up here Hehe! I didn't trail off far. Just trying to get organized with budgeting and paying bills. Looks like we'll be alright for the rest of the year and with the holidays. My DH and I are headed to town tomorrow. Get some more x-mas shopping done. I've got to get stocked up on fresh veggies and dairy too. Sunny, I too believe that christmas is for children. The last two holidays I asked family to donate the cost of my gifts to those that need it. So now, each year, we donate to the Boys and Girls Town. It just makes sense to us. My DH wad abandoned at age 6 in a large city (long story), He never new his parents or any family as far as that goes. I have given him the best gift of all, Sierra. Our DD is the only blood relative he knows. Can you imagine? So we pay it forward by helping other children in need each year. Sierra is our angel girl. We totally spoil her! She's our true gift!

Hi Cat, Marty, and Kass! Looks like you are all doing great! Marty, What's so great about this woe is that we recognize and acknowlege when we stray. We get right back on track. Not as in before as we just kept feeding our addiction of sugar and carb filled foods. As long as we stick together, we'll get to goal! Cat, your soup sounds great! Something hot on a cold day! I love soups this time of year. I drink alot of herb teas this time of year too. Kass, If I havn't said it before, your son is adorable, he's gonna be a heart breaker I can tell! I've seen those drinking hats before. I could just imagine Cat wearing one of those at work, couldn't you? She'd really give them something to talk about then. Hehe Ha Cat! Well I wish I could post pictures. I'm the total opposite from Sunny. I'm so computer illiterate, it's not funny. Thanks to Cat, I have a ticker. Maybe some day. I have a girlfriend that knows all about computers. I'll have to invite her over for a sleep over and teach me a few things on this darn thing. Well Ladies, I'm gonna go hop in the shower With DH ( my chippendale dancer) hehe! Later.........

LOL, Sherri, you're too funny! Hmmmmm....maybe I will give these Atkin haters something to talk about.

Chippendale's? Men? What is that? I haven't been on a date in over 3 years.

I had to pop some L-glutamine (cravings were out of control). I almost bought some sugar free candy yesterday (that's how bad the cravings were). Man, if this is how drug addicts feel then I so feel sorry for them. It's got to be the worse thing to go through. I'm making it one hour at a time. I can't even say one day at a time. It's been a battle for sure.

I had 2 eggs with 1 tbsp. heavy cream & cheese then fried in butter along with some bacon for breakfast; lunch was ham, green beans, and cucumbers with ranch dressing; snack was 1 oz of macadamia nuts; and dinner will consist of meatloaf (not sure what I'll eat with it at the moment).

I'm still at work. Talk to ya'll later!!

Good morning Cat, Kass, Marty, Sunny and and all those who visit. Well, I just wanted to report my 1/2 pound loss. It's not much, but I'll take it. Yesterday was shopping day. There's still a couple things I need to buy for christmas. The majority of the shopping is done though. We're going to hang new lights on the house this week. I bought more bows, so I'll be hanging them on the outside of our fence. I love bows! My DD choir class is having another bake sale. So I volunteered to make cookies and english toffee to put in christmas gift bags to sale for her trip to Disneyland Studios in the spring. Sunny- My heart goes out to you for the loss of your DD. I have more family and loved ones on the other side waiting for me than I do here on earth. It may sound strange to some folks but I actually look forward to seeing them again, Praise God! I miss them so much. Especially my mom, dad, sister, and Grandparents. I often feel their energy around me and I feel great comfort from that. Your DD would want you to decorate for the holidays. We all do! So get with it girlfriend Cat- I am so proud of you. You are just doing so great. You just might get that date some day soon. We'll have to follow you around with a big stick just to keep the fellas off you! You're a beautiful women with such a great personality. My grandmother once told me that God made a mate for everyone here on earth. There's one for you too. He'll come, be patient! By the way, your menu looks great! Kass- I love what you do. I bet you're a wonderful teacher and the kids love you. How long have you been a special Ed teacher? My DD has a LD (learning disability) in math. It's called Dysalculia. It's specific to math. It is related to the underlying ability to visualize things in space and gauge their quanity. It wasn't discovered untill after doing kindergarden twice and complications in first and second grade when the teacher was accusing her of being defiant. There were so many red flags. I had her tested in 3rd grade and that's when it was discovered that she had a LD. She's been on the Honorable Mention since and does well in school. With the support of special instruction she strives. I totally respect you and the work that you do Marty- What are you up to today? Did you finish the painting? We miss you here girl. Let us know how you're doing, O.K.? Well, today, we're hanging lights outside and bows on our fenced yard. The truck is coming to fill our oil for heat today. That will be costing an arm and leg! Liquid gold, well not quite, but sure feels that way in the pocketbook. Wishing all of you a great Atkins day!

Hope you are all having an Atkins friendly day. LOL

Sherri your words are so inspirational. Congratulations on your weight loss every, little bit counts. Thanks for sharing about your daughter. When people find out that I teach special ed...they think that my kids are "slow learners" or "retarded." I am always educating people about kids in special ed. I teach "emotionally disturbed" students, this is their primary diagnosis. This ranges from eating disorders-depression etc. These kids are very smart and can pass all of the state's requirements. They just need the extra support in certain areas.

I don't really like the taste of tea but once a month I drink a detox tea for a few days. It helps to clear up my system and remove those nasty impurities that build up under the skin.

Good evening Marty, Kassoria, Sherri, and Sunny!! I hope everyone had a blessed day! Today's menu was bacon & eggs; homemade veggie soup; peanuts; meatloaf & greens; pumpkin bake; and some pork skins. Water intake was better. I've not had PT for 2 weeks (last week because I was sick and this week because I'm so tired).

Today I tried on some size 16 pants for the Lose the Love Handles Challenge. I didn't think I could get them up past my hips (couldn't last week) but they went up without any problem....buttoning them was a different story (didn't happen). I did manage to get them zipped by lying back and then struggling to get up. LOL!! I'm psyched because I started this journey in a size 20 pants.

Well I'm tired and am heading to bed. I'll speak with everyone in the AM.

Thank you Sherri! I can't wait until you have to bring that big old stick to beat them off. I'm starting to get kind of lonely.
