          Sunny, yes Ray is very romantic, kind, and considerate. Yesterday when he came over he brought Tashiana a doll. She's warming up to him. I want you to find your special someone so I'm going to stay in prayer with you that God will send your "soul-mate" to you.

          Katie, Ray and I are doing really well. He called me at work to tell me he bought me an engagement ring but let me know that if I don't like it that we can get it made into another ring and he will buy me a new ring. He's so sweet. I'm so glad I never gave up after psycho man.

          Lashon, be careful on your road trip.

          I think I'm coming down with either the strep, a cold, or the flu. My throat has been hurting and I keep getting chills. It sucks to feel this way but I'll make it the weekend. I refuse to be sick because this is the first weekend that Ray has had off in a month and we're going to church together on Sunday. I'm sooooo excited. I love my new church and the people are so genuine.

          Okay, off to take a very hot shower....hoping it will help get me warm.

            Nothing big Sunny. I am just traveling to my hometown for a while and will not have access to a computer (don't have a laptop yet). But if I was going to Hawaii, yall know we could hookup and sho-nuff show out there

                Good Morning Derby Girls!


                Well, the Earth shook but the scale didn't move today. *Something* woke me this morning way before Dawn...thought it was the dog banging on the bedroom door but nope. News reports it was an EarthQuake!!!! The epicenter was in south central Illinois (about 3/4 hours away) but I sure felt it here!

                Mr. Scale, however, didn't oblige me today, lol.

                  Hey everyone. Sorry that I did not check in yesterday. My baby and I have strep. Ugh!! I'm about to buy a whole bunch of herbs to strengthen my immune system because this getting sick is for the birds!!

                  Catherine, yesterday I was in my kitchen and my cabinets were shaking and I just thought the house was settling (earthquake never crossed my mind). I didn't find out until I got to work that it was the earthquake. I can't believe I felt it all the way here in Kentucky. That scares me!!

                  Well, my DGs say a prayer for me....I'm so tempted to eat things that are not good for me like Tortilla chips, etc.. I don't want to fail.

                    Good luck Cat! You'll stay on track!!!! I did something bad but good today. I went to the movies and I am a person that has to eat while I am there and I totally forgot to pack and Atkins friendly snack!!!

                    Anyways, I bought M&Ms and popcorn!!! ARGH! BUT I barely ate anything because as soon as I sat down with it I took one look at myself and thought "what the heck am I doing?" It's just not worth it! So I had a bit but I've never been able to stop myself! So I am happy. I've been feeling like a failure and to me that was a success. A WOL success...I was able to evaluate temptation and turn it down!

                      Well, I didn't make it. I had Johnny Carrino's lasagna and then to make it worse had chocolate cake with ice cream followed by peppermint candy. I'm not beating myself up. I made it this far without cheating. I think that one bout of "badness" will help me get refocused and not stay focused so much on stuff I can't eat. Great job Katie on being able to stop eating (I know it wasn't easy).

                          I am glad that you were able to stop yourself. I have that same issue with certain foods...one little cheat turns into a day of cheating. Good job!

                                Hi everyone!! Glenda, I do not like Mondays either (or any other day that I have to come to work). LOL!!

                                Kass, I'm back on track this morning. Yesterday's cheat was the only meal I had all day. I don't feel bad about it. I know I can't do that on a daily basis. I did have a carb hangover this morning (so nauseated). I ate the bread yesterday and got instantly dizzy (blood sugar). I could feel the affects of it immediately which will also keep me on track.

                                Ok girls....must get back to work and try to stop yawning.
