Hi Ladies, just checking in. I too am going to get back into bed. I am going to watch some tv shows that I have recorded on my DVR. Then I think I'll clean a little. But first I need to relax in a hot tub of water. I plan to walk today and cut the grass. I will count this as exercise if all goes well.

    Have a great day ladies.

Hello Derby girls! I really over did it with the snow shoveling, and my body let me know it! That is not why I didn't come on this weekend--that was because I spend way too much time on here and neglect to finish projects that I have started. I wasn't able to exercise, so I needed to clean. I cleaned most of Friday and finally defrosted the upright freezer and cleaned the oven. Then, Saturday, I moved everything that wasn't heavy furniture out of my bedroom, and it didn't go back until I had sorted it, and found a new spot for it, so I can do crafts and make some clothes. I have so many craft supplies and tools and so much sewing stuff. I cleaned the carpet before moving stuff back in.

This place is so small, and I hate stuff out of place. I have always lived in very large houses, and now I've got the same stuff in a quarter of the room. I hate being disabled and not able to keep up a big place any more.

I don't do anything on Sunday, but go to church, so the rest will have to wait until Tuesday. It was 12 degrees when I left for church this morning, so I had to dress warm enough not to set off the RSD again, but cool enough that I wouldn't cook in the choir loft. It only got up to 22 degrees this afternoon and will be down to 7 degrees in the morning.

I'm not going to make my 250 exercise minutes this week. It was kinda dumb to do all that snow shoveling, but it needed doing. I have to go see the butcher surgeon tomorrow in Charlottesville, so that will take most of my day. I'm not looking forward to this appointment. I doubt he is either. He's run out of time and excuses. I really trust my family physician, but I think he is wrong this time about sticking with this surgeon to let him make right what all he did wrong. I don't think he is capable of fixing what all he did wrong. If he is, he would have done it right the first time. After tomorrow, I am probably going for a second opinion in Richmond at MCV (Medical College of Virginia).

Well, I'm gonna kick back and try to relax before going to bed.

        Sunny!
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

I didn't formerly exercise but I cut the grass today for about 1/2 an hour. Boy my back and legs are feeling it. I also did 60 squats and 50 calf raises. Have a good night everyone. See ya all tomorrow!

Sounds like everybody faired pretty well over the weekend. Although we have a lot of sore muscles going around..

Kass: WOW!!! You have and can actually see the grass??? The greatness of living in a warmer climate. We bought my mom a ticket to go visit her sis in San Diego to go grab some sun. We get a high of 16 today... You are really kick butt on your exercise...

Tracey: Don't give up.. it really is not worth the effort getting back on the wagon. Come here and visit instead.

Cat: Here's hoping your week is a better on!!! You have just had a horrible stress level lately.. Just picture yourself on the warm beach in your brand new itty bitty tiney winey yellow pokadot bikini..... All the guys tripping over themselves to get to you!!

Sunny: ouch... I hate to shovel.. My son does it at home but I had to do some Fri. night and am still paying dearly for it...Understand about smaller areas. Everything has to be in place or it drives me nuts...

Catherine: Aren't babies wonderful?? Love to spoil and then send them home... Should have had my grandkids first... hee hee

Dorothy: Glad to hear you enjoyed your Curves.. much better when you enjoy what you are doing...

Glenda and Sherri: Hope your days are bright and sunny!!!

                  Have a carbfree day!!!

I went to Curves today and did 30 minutes on the circuit plus 150 abs, 30 pushups, and 50 squats. I might try pilates. I saw a few videos on demand for free. I'll try it either tonight or tomorrow.

We enjoyed the games very much yesterday! DGS was here with us...he is 9 & impressed his Aunt with his knowledge of the game. We are still shocked the Giants won. Looking forward to the big day!

We are freezing our butts off...wouldn't that be nice to have a few inches just fall off! As much as we complain about the winter we feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful state that has 4 seasons. Actually we have 5 seasons...one of them being mud!!

I love being a nurse as I have always enjoyed helping people. Having worked in an OB/GYN office I was privelaged to share the wonders of pregancy/birth & children with patients. I also enjoyed my young girls who found themsleves mommies...I had my son at 17 so I knew how they felt. I live in a small town so these "patients" & I still have a bond. Working in the Operating Room I love the routine & procedure of doing surgery. I love the instruments & tools. I love getting to see the human body up close & personal. I'm quite a lucky person as I love my job despite that sometimes I complain about it!!! Thanks for asking!
