My problem with retail is that I'm (currently!) about an 18 or 20 Woman's (+ size) but I'm 6ft+ tall...so full length on most people is not full length on me. I've got a really good sewing machine but am so out of practice. Haven't made clothes since high school...a LONG time ago, lol
NO MORE MARSHALL FIELD'S???? OH NO!!!! But to be honest I found most of my attire at Lord & Taylor. The reason I love that store so much is because other stores let me down BIG TIME when it came to carrying stylish clothes for heavier ladies. The selection was something I would not have even put on my grandmother at times.....HORRIBLE. But L&T always came through for me. I said when I get down to my sz 10, I am going to still shop there. Now I have been in FL for almost 4 years now so I am hoping their merchandise is still up to date. Prime example I would get Jones New York suits there for like $40 and the suit was originally $200+. I wish you the best of finding something. Don't give up.

I'm having plumbing issues at my house and feeling a little down. Don't be surprised if I slink off into hiding.

Going to be a pretty busy week at work, woke up this morning and it felt like Thursday already! I get my hair cut tomorrow and am looking forward to taking another few inches off--it is at that akward stage where you can't do anything with it at all.

Jersey--The cruise sounds like a lot of fun! And when you go shopping for that dress, you can play the "guess how much smaller I am now" game looking for sizes

Marty--Good for you getting a weekend just for the two of you. I can't imagine what it must be like with 3 kids around the house. It seems like the women on this board are better than sisters--no fighting as I did with mine growing up!

Kass--Grats on becoming a supporting member! It reminds me to get that done as well...sheer silliness to have waited this long.

Cat--Sorry about your plumbing issues, but don't run off!

Sunny--You are doing great with the exercise!

Bekka--I'm glad that you've been able to find a new friend during your time of need, and hope things are turning around for you!

Hey Lachon and Sherri, have a great day everyone!

Now, exactly what would that help??? Attack the plumbing issue and don't let it get you down--get it out of the way and over with. Keep your spirits up by keeping yourself out in the open and not dwelling on the negative. You know 'who' is throwing all these tests in your way to derail you, but your faith and God are much stronger than he is. You know we love you and we will cheer you up. Look forward to Onederland! I am watching the thread and your journal to see if you have made it yet.

As far as the breasts. I have never wanted big breasts. As a matter of fact i can remember sleeping in my bra when I was younger in hopes that they wouldn't grow. Well it obviously didn't work. So thank God for technology. One of the ladies on our dance team at church is having the reduction surgery tomorrow and I am SO HAPPY for her. She has really suffered with the back & shoulder pain. Bless her heart.

I did really good today with my eating and exercising. I just got back from the gym and can't wait to eat me some cucumber and tomatoes with Ranch dressing and a turkey patty with Swiss cheese....YUM... Thanks again.

Ok, you guys are right. Slinking off is not going to help a thing. I'm just so frustrated, angry, and tired. I don't ask how much more because I don't want to know how much more one "thinks" I can take. I'm sorry to vent guys. I couldn't cook last night due to the water issue so I had to eat out today (steak, broccoli with cheese sauce and was supposed to be salad but the dimwits left it out of my order and now I have to go back across town to pick it up). I had to do a sponge bath this morning and slathered myself with lotion praying that I don't have any BO. Ugh!!!!!! Then I get here and the stupid system goes down (when I'm loaded down with cases) so that I'm going to be even further behind. I think I've found the culprit of these major mood swings. This lovely fibroid tumor is wreaking havoc on my life (period here, period gone, period back again before time, period gone, and so on....) . I think my hormones are out of whack and I am hoping to find a natural alternative (because I do not want to take BC pills for this condition any longer). I'm praying that all of this shall pass (SOON).
