As all my Derby Sisters are. We all seem to have a lot of baggage but what a wonderful place to sort it all out so we aren't having to go through it alone.

First and foremost--Cat--welcome to Onederland and here's a key to the city! They will miss you in Twoterville!

I don't have time to go back and catch up on all the posts--having a very rough week and I have so much to do before my surgery. I got too cold at the Food Pantry, yesterday, and was the only one there to register about 150 people after my best friend had to be taken to the ER by ambulance and the only other person left to follow to make sure someone was with her until family could get there. I had to stay for more than two hours before I could go to the hospital, because I was all there was. I was so worried, I was almost totally useless--the old brain just wouldn't work from the cold, intense pain and worry. After I finished, drove round trip to the hospital, then I drove home and just crashed, so no exercise for yesterday. I got my mommy's cuddly, warm, soft blanket and wrapped in it on the sofa, planning to read a good book, but I fell asleep and stayed there until sleet hitting the window woke me up at 2:00 a.m.

We had a horrible storm system move in late yesterday and I just can't get warm. We have had freezing rain and sleet for about 20 hours. Even exercising for 75 minutes today in sweats and double fuzzy socks on didn't help me warm up. I even baked cookies for several hours.

My catch-up schedule is full for tomorrow. At least it's supposed to be in the 50's and sunny. Maybe I can finally get my car cleaned out, washed and waxed. It's been a long time, and I can't abide a messy car. I will walk tomorrow and do some floor exercise to make up for no exercise yesterday. Looks like I am never going to get two days in a row for rest from exercise.

Welcome Kathy! It's great to see you here!

Sherri--I noticed that you are now the Journal Chats Hostess! Wow! They couldn't have picked a better person! You are so supportive!

Everybody else--hello and keep on track with food and exercise! I love you all!

        Sunny!

MORE HIDDEN CARBS BUT I FOUND THOSE LITTLE JOKERS!!

Hi everyone, today was a good day as far as my eating. I did drastically cut my coffee and Splenda intake today. I only had ONE splenda, where I would normally have at least 7. I found some more hidden carbs in sugarless breathSaver mints. One mint has 2 carbs in it. I had been eating probaby 3 of those things a day. WOW!

I love splenda too. I used two in my mock danish (which I am sick of ) and felt super naughty using three! I am not sure on carb count. I do think it is 1 per packet. anyone can correct me on this. I would LOVE to hear splenda is carb free LOL not gonna happen (we can dream).

I swear you almost have to be a carb detective to look at every single thing going in your body. I cut out diet soda/tea for a week and lost more to my surprise.

Lashon....Some of those mint and sugarfree candies are the devil! They have hidden sugars everywhere. I used to eat mints and found them as stallers for me too. I never chew more than one piece of gum per day either.

Cat...Where are you girl? You must be enjoying wonderland.

Catherine..Sorry abut your trip.Maybe you can take a mini day vacation? Has your trip been rescheduled?

Kathy...Feeling any better hon? I think I have what you had.

Marty/Tracy...Hope you are not working too hard this weekend.

Sherri...How's my favorite hostess? "You've come a long way baby." Your stats are awesome!

Sunny...I admire you for your volunteer work. In the summer I teach a community Service class and we have two volunteer sites, one being a food bank. The kids get so much joy out of giving back and it does wonders for their self esteem!

                            Prya..how's the weather down there?

Hi Dorothy, Glenda, Bekka. How are you ladies doing with exercise and eating on plan?

So tonight We are going to Monster Truck Jam! It is pouring rain and I went out and bought ponchos. I paid to much for the tickets not to go. I hope I don't catch the cold of death. Have a goodnight ladies.

Good evening! I've had the week from H-E-double hockeysticks!! My body just crashed today but I still couldn't rest. I went to take my aunt to the grocery store today (her car is down). We walked for over 3 hours so I'm counting that as exercise because my body is aching and screaming right now.

Sunny, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry that you're having a rough week. I'm keeping you and your friend in my prayers. BTW, thanks for the key. Man, I didn't think I was going to make it. And of course I didn't take a pic as I don't have any floppy discs and somehow managed to forget them at the store today.

Kass, so sorry you're sick. I'm going to be praying for you as well!!

Sherri, that is so impressive. I'm so proud of you for sticking to it and your results have been phoenomenol. You and Sunny are true inspirations!

Marty, what's up with you "smokin' granny". Keep me in your prayers....I want a "love story" like yours.

Lashon, I had to cut out all sweet snacks. They stalled me for 3 weeks. I now stick to the veggies/protein/and fat. However, I must admit, I've been craving coffee so I bought some decaf today. This is highly unusual for me because I'm not a coffee fan. I've avoided the craving all day....if it's not gone by tomorrow I'll have a cup.

Tracy, are you sore yet? You're trying to catch Kass with all that working out.

Prya, did you say you just got out of a relationship? Well, it won't be long that you're with a new beau with that haircut. You look great girl!

Catherine, have you been burning up the circuit in your personal gym? Still have bad weather? I hope you all get out of the bad weather. You could all come here to the psycho weather....ya know. It was 50 today and will be up to 65 on Wednesday but back to the 30s on Thursday. I wish it would stay in one range.

Hi to Kathy, Glenda, Dorothy, and Bekka!!

Thank you ALL for your support!!! You are awesome folks!!!
