Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

Oy! I'm scratching my head here. Got back from lunch and realized that I just had black beans. I didn't even think about it at the time, I'm used to being able to eat them. As I was walking back it just struck me that I just had something I shouldn't have. *Bonks his own head*.

lol Grant. I made them last night and the kids gobbled them down faster than I could blink.

I'm with elsy and liz with the 4 pound woosh. I love induction. I've had a really great 2nd day with a slight headache buzz going--but overall it's been easier this time. Hubby asked me this morning why I asked him if he'd bought ice cream last night when he came in from shopping (I'm staying away from the market for the time being), and all I said was that I wanted to make sure he didn't bring any home because I wanted to stay away from it.

I'm struggling with the water though. I only managed 32oz yesterday and I was constantly in the bathroom with only that small amount!

I'm finding that I'm drinking more water. I think it's because now that I'm not snacking all day my hands and mouth still want something to do so I grab the water bottle. 4 liters so far today.

I just finished my work out and feel great! NO head ache. I had another induction friendly lunch and now we are off to the park with the puppies.

40 oz of water in already and it is only 1 pm

Had a great day of eating. The wedding was absolutely Atkins friendly. We had chicken wings for appetizer (no breading) and I had grilled salmon with summer squash and salad. Only water to drink.

My woosh continues. I woke up to another 4.5 pound drop. Yesterday went well but I had to fight a serious peanut butter craving---that wasn't pretty but it gave me incentive to chug that water!!

Good job Meena! Whoo hoo! That's awesome!
I'm down another .2lbs today for a 4.5 loss... but I found out my scales don't match... my old one is 3 lbs lighter.... so what I thought was a 10 gain was really only a 7lb gain... but now I'm in a dilema... Do I change all my stats now... ??????or just forget about it and pretend I'm really up more... any thoughts?

I'd change stats and chuck the old scale!! You're doing great though. The wooshie fairy is visiting like mad these days. lol---and I can't stay out of the bathroom!!!!

I have to say that I was quite dumbstruck this morning when I got on the scale. I'm sure one all this water comes out of me I'll stop losing so quickly. I always go so fast in the beginning.

                            Gotta love induction, huh????

I was down another 2 lbs this morning to 180.5. It's amazing how much stuff 'creeps' and causes water retention, isn't it???

Grant--I'm coming over to eat at your place. MMmmmmm all that seafood sounds delish!

Had a good day today with food and water. Making some sausage stuffed jalapeno poppers right now. I'm a little worried that the sausage will set me back tomorrow on the scale (processed food).

Can I sneak in here, too?

I didn't know this thread was here, but I re-started induction on the 26th, too. I'm down 8 pounds--only 2 to go to get back to my ticker weight. A lot of it was TOM, but not all.

Great to read all your posts and know I'm not the only one! We'll start the new year already feeling better. My sugar cravings are SO much better already. I'm ready for a new year and a new attitude.

I've been off on vacation, so I've really upped my exercise, too. It helped the headache that set in the first day. It's been pretty cold here, but I've been walking anyway. I got a new pedometer for Christmas so I've got to make it work!

Off to fix a broccoli casserole.
