Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

okay, i have to confess i don't have the book anymore....can you quickly summarize? i am assuming from other posts that it has to do with only staying on induction 2 weeks and then moving up the rungs? sorry to be a pain, but can't run out to store to buy book because of back injury!

Hey All!! Count me in starting Wednesday. I still have one more party to go to, and the potential of a champagne hangover Tuesday, so Wednesday is it!! I can't wait. I am jealous of y'all who have already started.

I haven't weighed in, but judging by my clothes, I think I am probably up 10 from my ticker. And PMS next week - so it isn't going to just fall off overnight either. Ugh. Sooooo glad that this thread is started. See you guys on Wednesday.

Hey gang! I'm down another 3.5 pounds this moring. A total of 7.5 pounds in 4 days. You're right Joy. It is amazing how much water we retain due to all the junk. I still need to lose another 6 to get to my ticker weight...

Oh well, at least I know I'm on a roll now. Thanks you all for all the support. So many of you are starting to melt so soon. Congrats!

This morning up 2.2 lbs from yesterday. Sausage and 2 hotdogs (processed meats that contain nitrites, or HFCS or sugars for curing) always bite me in the butt. THIS, though, is the beauty of Atkins....finding out what foods are causing the problems. At least I *KNOW* that if I eat those foods I'm going to be UP on the scale. Literally this morning, my eyes were puffy. Then last night, after eating that stuff I had cravings. BAD, BAD processed food! LOL

Came so close to slipping up again. Making a salad at Ruby Tuesday's salad bar, dipped the spoon in the sunflower seeds and just about added them to the salad like I normally do. Fortunately caught myself.

Feeling pretty good physically and mentally. Hope everyone else is doing well too!

Re: Anyone going back to Induction 12/26???

Would it be too late for me to jump in this thread? I have not posted on these forums in awhile, however I am back and looking to drop a wee 10 pounds for my trip south at the end of February. I specifically bought myself a new tankini today just to try it on and be disgusted with myself from all the holiday eating. Well I finally kicked my in-laws out that were staying with us and force feeding me sweets and pasta and lots and lots of rice! And beer, don't forget the beer

Well you know how it is. Anyways, I am here looking for a place to post that is like a 'support group' type of thread and this one appears to be a good candidate for that!
Let me know if I am in the wrong place. I have a pot of meat balls in my special sauce stewing as I type!

I'm holding steady with my 8.5 losses. I think my body is in shock to be quite honest--lol. My headaches are also subsiding and I'm starting to get my energy back. Cravings are also all but gone and my breath---let's not go there. lol.

I'm starting to feel more in control which I was sorely lacking for the last couple months. I'm also starting to feel less "puffy". Isn't it a great thing?

I couldn't find my book, either, when I was looking for it the other day to find out what Jess was talking about with pages 214-215....luckily, it's fairly easy to memorize!! also, check out the extended induction forum with the printout of what foods are allowed during induction...
A forum for those who are metabolically challenged or have a substantial amount of weight to lose and find the need to continue on the induction phase a bit longer. Please be advised that Extended Induction is NOT a phase of the Atkins diet.

I just would like to see some of these extra lbs fall off and I would LIKE to see the 140's this month heck I'd like to make goal #1....
