    Morning everyone,
    Well, I could either post on yesterdays or start a new one... so I chose the later...
    I haven't gone to bed yet, having just gotten off work. Very thrilled to now be ON VACATION!!!! for the next 2 weeks... not going to answer my phone either in case my boss decides to see if I want to work! NO!!!!!
    I had a great night... one of my coworkers has lost 20 lbs... and I'm so proad of her... also I had a student today and it was fun to have a buddy to talk to and someone young and enthusiastic and interested in what I do... made me feel really good to be in the 'teaching' mode. I really enjoyed it.
    I also passed up some chocolate cookies... and since cookies have been my downfall lately, I'm feeling pretty happy about that.
    Starting the no sugar/sweetner challenge... and am a bit mortified at what all has hidden sugars... ie. Morton lite salt!!!! and Mayonaise... so have to do some grocery shopping for me! I'm a little scared actually I won't be able to do it... I'm such an addict... and I can't believe all the hidden places where sugar hides... but, I'm going to give it my best shot! I'm sure it will get easier and if I have all the right stuff around I'll not be tempted.
    So, I'll be thinking of you all when I'm laying on my boat in the sun this weekend detoxing from... well pretty much everything. I don't think there's anything left. (coffee, chocolate, sugar, sweeteners, ? ha!) If I can't take it anymore I'll go to the library and get online on a computer there and come say hi. With it just being my ds and dh... I doubt if I'll be tempted to cheat. (ds being the health nut that he is... he'll be monitoring me like a hawk.)

    THANK GOD IT IS FINALLY FRIDAY!!!!

    Liz have a wonderful fun filled & relaxing vacation...you deserve it!

    Up early for some reason. Going to work & am trying to develop a good attitude about it. TOM symptoms suck & certainly don't help my attitude!

      Day 2 back on track. Did core synergistics. Tomorrow is yogaX, which is a half an hour longer than usual. I hate doing the longer workouts on a Saturday. Today I'm going to push myself extra hard. Then I'm going to sit on my rear and do nothing all weekend besides chasing after kids and cooking. Of course it never works out that way, but one can plan and hope. TGIF! Enjoy your weekend!!

        OzLover - WTG on working on the attitude for going to work thing! It amazes me how sometimes we have to make a concious effort to be positive. Its a downfall for me because I tend to be one of those people that see the bad aspects of everything. Naturally, I'm a negative person. I really have to make that effort to be positive. Sometimes I really struggle with it and its a daily battle. So WTG to you! I know how hard that can be(especially with TOM )!

          Oz - I know how you're feeling - I am also feeling TOM symptoms too. In fact, looking at yesterdays thread there are loads of us in this boat!

          Usually I am not hungry in the morning but I am fasting for my blood tests this morning and I am starving! Appt is at 11.10 and I am going to take a bag of cheese and bacon (my mouth is watering as I type!) for straight afterwards.

          I bought some ketostix this morning and it was nice and purple which is nice!

          I read last night in DANDR that the glucose test only works ifyou have eaten 150+ carbs a day for the previous two days so I may duck out of that one - what's the point of drinking sugar if it's not accurate anyway!

          Am off for dinner with hubby tonight - just the two of us. I am really looking forward to it. We are going to a fish restaurant so I will have smoked salmon to start followed by fish and spinach - yum!

              Speaking of work, my coworkers, in another office, had to combine bits of info from 50 pages onto one document. Of course they "cut and pasted" it. No biggie, right....until I found out they did it with real scissors and tape!!! Will wonders never cease?

              Ds has accused me of always making the same things for dinner, so this weekend I need to find some new recipes. I haven't used the old crockpot in years, so I want to make a point of using it next week. I need to check out that post from about a week ago.

                Hi All!

                Happy Friday!! All is great here! I woke up to the kitties chasing each other lol!!! Yesterday the ketostix were a medium purple so I am hopeful that I'll continue to lose soon!! I am going to do hot yoga 2 to 3 times this weekend for an hour an a half each time! i finally have enough money now to go and to save money on the side!! My eating has been really good the last two days. My bf and I are either going to Red Lobster tonight or a place called Milestones where I can get salmon! I am looking forward to it! i just have to avoid the cocktails.Any idea on a fun non-sugary/alcoholic bar drink I can get?

                    Good Morning! I am going to be strict today with my meals. My back is still bothering me but I really need to start working out. I am going to walk today and try some weights. I do have a question.. My tummy hurt so bad last night so I ate 2 tums.. Was this a mistake?? I hope everyone has a GREAT Spring Break. Only 6 more day's until Spring

                        Good Morning.. I have missed 4 days of work this week. Starting to feel better.. But I am dealing with Vertigo..so any big movement of my head really makes me dizzy and sick in my stomach.. So I decided to just stay off work again today...

                        Weather today is going to be gorgeous 75... Hubby is out picking up my new/used tv from his sisters.. we are going from a 19 inch to a 32 inch.. won't know how to act.. I might actually be able to read the words on the tv now..lol

                        So last night my daughter had dance rehearsal for a recital this weekend.. of course it was suppose to be from 5-8 and that would have gotten us home at 9...well I didn't get home until 10:30... Before we went..we stopped at Subway and I got a salad to take.. So about 7 I am outside in my car eating my salad...and YIKES...TOM hits...YES WHILE I WAS IN THE CAR! GRRRR... 3 freaking days early.. But hey I am down a pound...lol I will take it... (guys don't you love hearing about TOM all the time )

                        Just taking it easy today...I can't drive my car until later when the dizziness has eased off I have a couple of errands to do..

                          happy friday and not a moment too late!!! actually, at 2:02 this afternoon i start spring break! can't go far or do much since mini me is still in school but that is ok...i get to stay home and catch up on the zoo we call life.!!!

                          oh, and today is the beginning of WW3....i am taking my kid out of her 6th grade class and moving her into another if i have to storm the office to do so......i have HAD IT with her situation...been patient and hopeful too long...no i am not a nutcase parent.i have been teaching 25 years. and this is a FIRST. wish me a cool head. (this is a story for my journal!)

                              Today finishes my two week induction.

                              I'm feeling better, less bloated, my clothes fit better and my skin has cleared up nicely. I have no idea how much weight I've lost as I'm ignoring the scale. All in all I'm pleased

                              I'm going to be staying on induction for a couple more weeks just to make sure the cravings are good and dead. Then I will move up the carb ladder the right way.
