Re: Induction Marathon - great idea!!

      Good Morning!!
Well I made it through the weekend and was 100% on my diet – I did not exercise but I was very busy – working on the house and shopping – lawn work too.
I am feeling so very very good today!! I am looking forward to another wonderful week on Atkins. Also I did not really keep up with my food this weekend (I mean I did not write it down) but I will enter my food during the week… (it is interesting to me to see what everybody eats!!)

Drinking my coffee right now… gosh how I love coffee… heehee

      GOOD LUCK this week!!! J

Re: Induction Marathon - great idea!!

I am still on plan with everyone. I purchased two excercise DVD's this weekend so I can start moving with all of you too. I normally do not post on the weekends - but will keep on top of everything during the week.
My new favorite veggie this week is pumpkin... it is induction friendly and ooh so good w/ butter and salt & pepper.
Worked out over lunch break for 15 minutes. (better then nothing) Plan on doing more tonight.

I have deceided that I am going to join in. I am just so tired of kicking my self on monday because I cheated over the weekend. My ultimate goal would be to go the whole month of October with out cheating once.

Hi gang, I am planning to start tomorrow. Can I join your Induction marathon!?
I have 100lbs to lose so I think extended induction is the way to go for me.
My birthday is November 10th and I plan to lose one size by then. I know I can do it on Atkins.

Tonight I'll shop and cook, tomorrow I'll be one of you!

Re: Induction Marathon - great idea!!

                  10/5

                  lazy rainy miserable day.

                  no exercise to speak of.

might as well have been on the protein power plan instead of atkins. Comsumed almost no veggies, but did manage to keep my carbs under 20.

here is a list of what I ate all day.

                  B-
                  3 eggs scrambled
                  4 turkey sausage links

                  L-
                  1/2 slice meatloaf
                  1/2 cup tuna salad
                  1 med pickle
                  1oz pepperjack
                  2oz cream cheese and olives

                  D-
                  2 Cod fillets
                  3 scrambled eggs

barely made my 100oz of water for the day.

Re: Induction Marathon - great idea!!

I'm poppin in since I am doing Induction again to clean up my act. Seems that everyone is starting to up their veggies. GOOD! For those who haven't read the book, you should have 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of other permitted veggies every day. People tend to lose better when they get their veggies in. It has other benefits (FIBER & VITAMINS) too.

                        My menu today:

B-2 eggs scrambled with green onion, 2 strips bacon, decaf w cream

L-5 ounce ground beef patty with 1.5 ounces cheese

Snack- greek salad with 1 c lettuce, 1/2 small tomato, 1.5 ounces feta, 8 olives, 6 slices cucumber, oil and vinegar

D- 5 ounces baked chicken breast with broccoli casserole made with mayo, onion, Dijon mustard, and cheddar

                        80 ounces water
                        JILL

                        HW 298
                        HW (this time) 248
                        GOAL ONE 228
                        (take 2)
                        GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
                        GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
                        FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

This is my first day back on track since June. I've put back on 25 pounds and need to get back where I was. AHH!! It's so easy to lose track. Hopefully with your support I can stay focused this time around. I started walking on the treadmill and eating all induction friendly foods.
