Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
Hi Kathy, I'm starting tonight after hitting a bump in the road. I know it works and I'm excited to get back on it. Do you mind me asking what's on your grocery list? My grocery list usually only consists of eggs, splenda, and chicken :-/ so it gets kind of boring for me.
Thanks!

Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
I started today and I was so excited to get underway. I ate everything induction approved and think that I will be able to stick with this fairly easily. I hope that this goes the way I think it will, or at least hope it will.
Good luck to everyone starting this week.

Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
My husband is starting today too. I started a couple of weeks ago and was doing the diet wrong so I have restarted again myself. We went grocery shopping today and this is what we got...
Chicken breasts
Salmon
I bought everything to make the Atkins Jalapeno Poppers recipe
Lettuce
Shredded cheese for on top of our salads
Real Bacon Bits for on top of our salads
Blue Cheese Dressing (make sure there is NO sugar in it at all!!!)
Aquafina Bottled waters (12oz size)
Avecados (these get ripe fast so make sure to pay attention to them)
Sizzling sausages (not maple kind cuz that has sugar)
Sugar free Maple syrup to put on the sausages (Yummy!)
Potassium Suppliments (get these for sure!!!)
Liquid Splenda
Sugar Free Barbaque sauce
Sugar Free ketchup
Hamburger (I am going to try and make some meat balls with the sugar free Barbaque sauce tonight in my crockpot.
Cheese slices (NO SUGAR AT ALL! not even < 1 gram)
Eggs (I eat an omlet every morning for breakfast even if it sounds horrible to me because it starts me out well for the day because it is such a good filler)
Onion (I put this in my omlet sometimes otherwise I add it to my soups)
Hot Sauce
Chicken broth in a can (NO SUGAR!) to make soup
Celery (I love to put flavored cream cheese on celery stix for a snack) I know that Simon Delivers offers a flavored cream cheese that has no sugar.
Roast Beef lunch Meat (You spread a little cream cheese on it and then roll it up into a little burrito (these are good but you can change the kind of lunch meat if you want, it doesn't have to be roastbeef.
There are a bunch of ideas for you to try.

Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
Hi all, I too am starting induction on Wed 2nd Jan 08 I look forward to sharing experiences etc. One bit of advice I have come accross is to make sure we measure our inch loss as we may not loose alot of weight, it may show with the inch loss?

Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
Wow, thanks for the grocery list! How many carbs does celery have? I'm afraid to buy veggies because i'm worried about how many carbs raw veggies have :-/ Oh and those jalapeno poppers sound so good! I think I'll have a go at those too... mmm!
Cherribom, do you wrap the fajitas in lettuce or just eat them in a bowl all mixed together? Either way I'll have to try that recipe, is it induction friendly?
Thank you everyone!

Re: Who Else is Starting Induction on 1/2/08?
I just have my fajitas on a plate, although wrapping them in lettuce is a good idea! Yes all the ingredients are induction friendly. Franks Hot Sauce has 0 carbs and is made with cayenne pepper which is allowed. Sour cream is also allowed. However, be aware it can cause stalls in some people. I have not had a problem with it.Erica, 30, Female, 5'5"
